Each one is not too long, not sure what to do in a leap year tho… 🤔 used this book in a Y12SR class.
Jitkat –
I found the book boring and didn’t finish. It’s a good topic but the writing is quite bad and made me asleep in no time. It’s good for insomnia. It’s a shame as I’m interested in the subject but just can’t go through the ordeal of reading this book. Sorry!
Margaret Smeaton –
Rolf’s writing is so personable. One minute I felt like I was at one of his yoga lectures, the next minute I felt like I was sitting next to him at a 12 Step meeting. His words touch my heart . I so appreciate his dedication to his spiritual path and his willingness to share his experience, strength and hope. Namaste 🙏.

Did not care for it at all.
Beth Crossen –
This is my favorite of his books and I really loved Meditations from the Mat. It’s a beautiful way to start each day for anyone in recovery.
Catherine Harding –
This book is very helpful for people in recovery, even if you are not a recovering addict. I like how Rolf weaves together insights from his experience of 12-Step Recovery with insights and experiences from his yoga practice. I only wish I had found this book sooner. I have all 3 of us books on my bedside table and I cycle through each one, since they reveal his deep knowledge and experience of what it means to practice yoga. There is some special quality about how he explains complex things and make them understandable. He is such a gifted teacher. And his personal stories and reflections seem to somehow make the teaching dig in deeper, at least that is my experience. I love how he models that recovery is an ever-shifting journey that can only be lived and not really planned out. For me, his three books are a must-have. Wonderful wisdom and big-hearted compassion mark these books.
