I saw some reviews saying they could not get them off. There’s a clip on the back that you pull to release them. I have not had any issues taking them off, and they are secure!

These were great for our recent trip to Disney World. These backings grab hard and do not let go. They are *way* less expensive per backing, and easier to use, than the ones that Disney sells (you know, the ones that use a tiny Allen wrench to tighten the grasp). Our family bought a number of souvenir pins, affixing them to lanyards and backpacks, and didn’t lose a single one despite lots of roller coasters, fast-walking between attractions, and so on. They are in fact a little hard to remove until you get the knack (press down on the far flange with one set of singles while pulling up from the middle with the other), but I’d rather that than having pins fall off, or having to stop and work with a tiny screwset.

They work great! Yes they lock your pins so they don’t fall off what you have them pinned to. One or two out of the bag I received, so far were a bit “sticky” wouldn’t unlock but after a few attempts, they did. Price is great for how many you get. Ill be buying more. Pleased with my purchase and this seller.

High quality metal, not too bad in terms of size, any pin back sticks out a little. I’ve used these on pins for many different pin companies, including Disney pins so they are very versatile. That being said, they do their job a little too well. They keep pins in place to the point where it makes it difficult to get them off to the point where I’ve gotten blisters and almost snapped the posts off of a beloved enamel pin. So beware and make sure you’ve got the pins placed exactly where you want before snapping these on.

These are amazing! People used to steal my pins all the time or I would lose them because of constant wear but these stopped all of that! These were a great purchase and do well with any pin. They lock on tight and never let go. They are a pain to get off, but that’s the point! Great product and worth every penny.

I love pins. I love wearing pins. But I also get extremely attached to material things I love. Especially pins. These pin backs are awesome! I did need to google a tutorial on how to take them off (pull on the back part) but they worked very well because I struggled for an embarrassing amount of time trying to get my pins off 😂

These pin backs are perfect for securing pins to backpacks or any other high impact area. I previously used screw-in backs that required a really small Allen key to lock but after I lost the Allen key there was no hope to remove the pins. Anyway, these pins backs are easy to use; simply pull the back tip, secure to the pin, and let go. I use these pin backs for my kids’ backpacks and so far so good. They are holding up really well.

I bought these as well as the locking backs with the tiny screws back in February 2022 and waited until now [October 2022] so I could make the best review I could of this product.
These are truly great and I prefer them over the backs that come with the screws for a few reasons, I will list said reasons below and provide an explanation. I’ll also add a bit at the end of how to take them off since a couple of these reviews seem to be about that being difficult when it’s just a small learning curve to get over.
Reason #1: Affordable
When I bought these they were actually cheaper that the locking backs that came with the screws.
Reason #2: Strong
These backings ensure your pins are staying put! I use them on my pins on my jacket and they have been through a rough time for a few months, but I haven’t lost any pins. I checked one of my pins before writing this and it had actually bent from being tugged on by my bag strap and yet the backing stayed on. The pin physically bent instead of this backing coming off!
Reason #3: Easier and Faster
They are sooo much easier to attach, you just have to push them on like a regular backing. The other backs require you to use this tiny tiny screw and Allan key wrench every time you put them on and take them off, makes moving and repositioning pins very time consuming.
Removing the Backings:
Yes, like some people mention in their reviews, the backing are a little hard to remove at first but once you know how to it’s so much easier than the screws. This might not make too much sense but I’ll try to explain how to. You need to pull on the end circle while holding the rest of the backing in place, almost like you’re stretching or pulling it apart, and the backing should release the pin. I added a video to my review too of how it looks, hope that help! It’s a little hard to do it with one hand but eventually it’ll get easier, like learning how to undo a bra with one hand, it’ll take a bit of practice haha!

Ok, first of all, these DO work with Disney pins. I have no idea what other reviewers are talking about when they say these don’t work with Disney pins. I decided to bite the bullet and buy them anyway and I’m totally glad I did because they lock on so tight they feel like the locking backs that require the alan key, but if you pull them the right way they come right off.
Honestly, these are an incredible invention. I’ve used these on enamel pins from Disney, as well as various other pins purchased in brick-and-mortar stores and around the internet and they work flawlessly with all of them.
– I have never had one get stuck
– I have never had one not fit on a normal enamel pin from any brand
– They hold so tight, that if you could somehow only grip the base of it and avoid the small lip/cap that releases it, I believe you could tie a string to it and HANG OFF OF IT.
I have a large collection of pins and I have both the screw-locking backs that require an alan key to tighten a set screw, as well as these quick-locking backs.
I still use the screw-locking backs for pins that I have permanently affixed to backpacks, my pin trading bag, etc. At some level, those ones are stronger than these, while I’m pretty sure that the level at which there is a difference is far beyond the need of an enamel pin, I already had the screw-locking backs and I’m a nerd so I use them anyway for this case. BUT I would totally trust these in the same situation with all of my best pins.
I use these for pins that I want to be sure to protect, but in places where I may swap them out more often because it’s so easy to do.
Since there seem to be a number of people that can’t operate these properly I will also tell you how to use them, even though that information is readily available literally everywhere on the product page.
Step 1: Push the back onto the pin
Step 2: Do nothing else because it’s locked on unless the pin back itself is defective but its a 100-pack so throw it away and grab another one.
to remove:
Step 1: Pull it off. Yes just pull on it. The end of the pin back that is opposite the hole has a raised disc where the diameter of said disc is larger than the shaft of the rest of the pin back so it’s almost impossible to pull on it the wrong way.
I cannot understand for the life of me how anyone is having a problem with this but for me they have been absolutely amazing and they’re so cheap I’ve given handfuls of them to fellow pin collectors.

Bought these for pin trading at Disney and for my pins I want to keep on my bags while visiting. These worked great. Not one pin fell off and my pins on my lanyard were being thrown around. No tool needed. The Disney backs are not needed when trading as the trader just keeps their backing. These pins lock into place firmly. Remove by pulling the flat cap out first and then pulling off the backing. Will definitely be purchasing again.

I bought these after I lost a pin my brother bought me at Yosemite that was discontinued so it cannot be replaced – it had a rubber clamp, so I should have known better… I realized there were other pins I could lose that were similarly not replaceable, so I searched for clamps that lock better. Some of the reviews mentioned not being able to get them back off, which I have not had a problem with. They are certainly more secure than the original clamps that came with my pins. This way, I can still wear those pins and not worry about losing any more of them. I have plenty of them left over for any more pins I get in the future, or if these clamps get loose over time.
