 I hereby challenge any one of you to come up with a sleeker, more minimal (yes, I read that!), more paired down setup than I! Oh puny computational mortals buahaha I scoff at your wires and multiple screens and peripherals and oy! So I boast about the minimalist design here because this beautiful thing is actually 3 computers in one! I need 3 computers, you probably have at least two! 1) Corporate workhorse Dell thing, spreadsheets, PPT, code etc, 2) But you’re still DESPERATELY CLINGING TO YOUR FADING YOUTH by owning a Macbook Pro from 2018, its good at media but that screen is small…. 3) too many videogames, lots of Steam content isn’t available for Apple; you also like to paint digitally sometimes. Incidentally its 2024 and you probably try to touch screens that aren’t touchscreens (WTF, Apple?). I toggle between these all by pressing 1 or two buttons. The touchscreen makes me feel like I have command of a spaceship of data, the whole thing is just thing single convenient MEGA HUB OF FUN AND PRODUCTIVITY. I LOVE this computer because its so versatile and expandable; if you’re looking for something to do graphics or 3D, rendering etc, computationally HARD work – don’t get this by itself. Buy this thing to organize two or three other machines. Lastly it looks soooo good in my apartment; people that do not care about technology at all comment “wow this is a REALLY nice setup” or “wow this looks so cool”. Got everything on Amazon from the stylus to the iphone charger, laptop holder, mousepad, keyboard… just ask!

Received my 7710 booted it up and found everything working except the keypad on the keyboard. Spent hours searching through settings and the Dell help program trying to find the switch that would activate the keypad. Gave up finally, and contacted customer support. Tech took over my computer remotely searching for the problem. Finally told me it was a software problem and he dealt only with hardware issues and I would have to contact the software department. There I was told that they would guarantee to solve the problem if I paid $99. This for a computer that is still under warranty. Not having a keypad is a minor annoyance since the upper keyboard numbers work, but it seems that a brand new computer should work in every respect. $99 is a lot to pay to get one somewhat minor aspect of the system fixed. I have owned 3 HP computers, each for 5 years or more–never had a mechanical or software problem. Every Dell I’ve owned has been trouble sooner or later. I love the 27″ screen though.

I bought a “New” computer, and it was dirty, scratched, no paperwork and no screen protector… it had cat hair in the speakers. It was a used computer and not even reconditioned.

Not as blazingly fast as expected. I think this is because all data on the local drive is encrypted.
