I have a work laptop (mac M1) and a personal laptop (mac M2). When working from home, I want to have the same monitor setup quickly and easily – 2 monitors plus the laptop screen.
This dock provides that. This is especially great for my work laptop, because by itself the year and model only allows 1 external monitor.
Simple, straightforward, plugged it in and now I can swap the same monitor setup just by plugging in via USB-C. Well worth it. Done and done.

Dell’s compatibility chart is inaccurate. This unit has a type c connection to your laptop. If your type c port doesn’t have a D or a thunderbolt, the docking station will not work.

I download the displaylink driver for windows 11, both are work well for my Dell and HP laptop. support my 3 monitors. I love it.
I also install the driver for my MAC mini. but it only support 2 monitors. it lights on my 3 monitors. but MAC os can’t show 3 monitors, it only show two of them on display setting. so there 2 monitors are mirrored. one extern monitor only. it suppose have 2 extend monitors. does someone know how to fix it ? thanks first.

I purchased this dock to simplify my home office a bit. The dock itself works wonderfully with my Framework laptop: it charges my laptop at full speed, all of the ports worked outside of the box without needing to install any new drivers, the unit is cool and silent.. It has allowed me to basically set up a simpler dock experience for my laptop.
There’s one issue, though: the cable connecting the dock to your device is fixed and short… I cannot in good conscience recommend a dock like this that has a fixed cord: cable connectors will wear out over time. This means that once that connector wears out, you’ll be forced to either replace the cable internally in the dock or replace the dock itself. To limit this concern, I had to purchase an extension USB-C cord that could handle 100W power delivery.
Otherwise, I really like the dock.

Had multiple scuffs on the exterior, but functions well as intended so far. It seems likely a refurbished set or rejected set due to minor defects (exterior scuffs) rather than brand new in perfect condition, though not unexpected given the price.

I’ve been using this product for around two months. I haven’t had any problems. All the ports that I use — USB-A, USB-C, ethernet and HDMI have always worked perfectly. If you want technical details, you can download user manuals directly from Dell. The port has enough power to keep my computer charged. That being said, it can’t hurt to check Dell’s web site before buying to make sure the port is compatible with the model of your computer.

Pros:
1. Compatible with both Mac M1 Pro and Windows laptop
2. Compact and light weight
3. USB -C type input – sufficient wire length
4. Max 3 output: 1 HDMI and 2 Display Port
5. Multiple USB ports for easy connectivity
6. No need of external power source for laptops, this single USB C input will charge it
7. Latest software updates are available on dell website
Cons:
1. At least 2 HDMI port should be provided, I had to purchased a new cable to connect second screen.
2. All USB ports should be 3.0
3. To shift from Mac to windows, manually unplug the USB C
4. Avoid using any Display Port to HDMI converter. I faced resolution challenges when system goes to sleep mode.
