I was doing a full rebuild of my fuel system so I decided to change the fuel regulator while I was at it. Seeing the largely positive reviews here decided to go with this one in late September of 2022. Recently my car began dying if running for over an 45 min. Check with a gauge and over time it was losing fuel rail pressure. After checking all the connections and the fuel pump, I decided to try swapping out the Delphi FRP with my old 25-year-old Ford fuel oil pressure regulator. Immediate improvement and successfully ran the car for 5 hours without any dropping fuel rail pressure (actually a slight increase!). I’m glad that it worked for a couple months but I really expected a lot more for 50 bucks. It’s amazing that the fuel pressure regulator from 1996 functions better. My theory is that the regulator must be getting stuck and returning too much fuel back to the tank. Removing the vacuum reference made no difference. The only reason I’m giving two stars here is because it technically ran for half a year.

perfect fit but leaked at first because I threw away the odd black gasket on the underside. Don’t do that. otherwise works as described.

I installed this on a 1999 ford e350 with the 5.4L Triton v-8 engine. Install was straight forward and easy, removed the dog house on the van to access the rear of the engine, removed 2 screws and a vacuum line it was off.
My only issue with this fuel pressure regulator is that the O-rings on this one didn’t match the one i took off and prevented it from mounting flush on the truck. Easy fix I just took the o-rings off of the factory motorcraft regulator and swapped them to this Delphi regulator.
I have had it on the truck for about 6 months now and now issues yet.

Works like OEM. The fuel lines use one generic gasket instead of separate o-rings. That aside, no leaks and worked great.
