Arrived a day early. Excellent packaging, no damage. No smell. Easy to assemble with good instructions took me an hour, then a bit more time for the wall mount. Quality construction for being engineered wood. It’s pretty heavy. I would buy again. The drawers are a little flimsy and they have a screw in the rail that interferes with closing, that’s my only issue so far.

To my surprise it’s really nice and unique. Only thing the bottom sliding door is a bit cheap feeling but the rest of the bookshelf is very high quality

For all the people saying it’s “sturdy” and “well-made” it’s largely glorified cardboard and hardly more than that.
For the same price you could get anything that IS solid wood (look for unfinished pine in bathrooms and kitchens) and seal, stain, or paint it yourself. If you did it yourself, you’d have something near an heirloom.
Solid wood is sturdy. This is not. It’s pretty enough. But “kinda flimsy” and kinda wobbly…and I came to my senses while the piece was still in transit! Back it went!
And I feel guilty for the low review. It’s priced for more than it is! If it were $60 or less, I might be more charitable.

I had been searching high and low for a cute toy chest and bookshelf for our baby’s nursery, and when I found this one that is both of those things in one I was so excited! It came super fast, and everything was carefully packaged. It was also very easy to build and comes with mounting straps as well which is amazing!
