Bought this set to do a house remodel. Very pleased overall. The circular saw sucks.
The drive and drill guns are beasts, driving 8″ screws with no problem. 1/2″ holes to a foot deep.
The sawzall works the nuts, but you’ll want a bigger battery.
Oscillating multitool is my favorite, buy a sanding attachement.
Flashlight is small, but works for what you need it to.
Grinder is a powerhouse.
Radio is fine.
Vacuum works.
But the circular saw has issues. It’s fine for short cuts in plywood, but has no nuts to cut through 2x material. Even with a fresh blade and a larger battery, it’s good for a few slow cuts. If you need a cordless circular saw get the 60V or stay wired.
Still, very happy with the set overall. Spent a few hundred more on batteries but that’s just cause I use the set so much.

Although I am not a Dewalt fanboy, I have a couple of their tools and I think, in general, they do make good tools. Just not the brand I collect. But, they do make different grades of tools and this entire collection is all budget or economy tools. Not bad, just not their highest quality. As for the tools…
Drill – It is pretty heavy duty for being budget, but it is a run of the mill drill. Works just fine, does the job.
Impact Driver – Nice impact that has some power, drives well.
Circular Saw – Here again, it works as it should but does not have many features.
Flashlight – Not the best at all. It’s very light weight, cheapish and not that bright. For 20 volts, you’d think it would be brighter.
Radio – Well, this would be okay for a job site radio, when you just want to play your tunes. The sound quality is barely okay, but it puts out sound. It sounds like lower quality music coming out of a plastic box.
Blower/Inflator – Actually one of the better parts of this set, puts out quite a bit of air. Kind of surprised me.
Vacuum – Probably the weakest tool in the set. Has very little suction, you can easily pull your hand away from it, doesn’t really even grab it. But I had yet to see a good small cordless vac. This is another one.
Recip Saw – It works as it should but it’s very heavy, quite loud and TONS of vibration. I’ve used quite a few recip saws and I know they have vibration, but this is the worst I think I’ve ever used. Wouldn’t want to use this all day.
Oscillating Saw – About the best tool in the set, for one it is the XR version, and it’s a good heavy duty saw. I like it. Odd that it is the one XR tool in the set.
Grinder – It’s okay, like an average, every day grinder. Works well, just again, no thrills.
One note, good luck getting everything back in the bags. I have yet to figure out how everything needs to go in the bags to make it easy to zipper up. Not a big deal, just something I noticed.
Overall, it’s not a bad set. It would be good for the occasional DIYer or the week end warrior. Good for home owners that do things once in a while. Not saying they are bad, just budget is the best I can come up with.
I do think it is priced too high. At the current 950, I think it too much. For one as I’ve said over and over, they are almost all budget, plus you only get two small batteries for all the tools and one small regular charger, you can only charge one battery at a time. I say it’s too much because even their better lines, you can get kits with a tool, battery and charger for like 99. Buying sets, you could would have many extra batteries. Plus, a number of these tool are not work 99 with batteries. This is only my opinion. I am just saying, usually when you buy sets or kits, you get a deal, I don’t see that here.
Guess, if you are okay with the price, they are descent tools.
