This is a good bandsaw. It’s comparable to similar bandsaws from the top brand names such as Milwaukee. These top brands are a big step up in quality from the cheap knock off brands.
One very important thing to note regarding safety, make sure your saw has the bottom blade covers installed before use. Whether you buy new or used sometimes the saw arrives without the blade covers which makes for a very dangerous tool.
The Dewalt brand of blades cost more however they are much better than the cheap generic replacements. They cut better and last longer.

Wasn’t sure how well this was going to work but it is saving me a ton of time and frustration. The power is more than adequate for cutting any steel. I’ve been using it recently to cut 7/8” all-thread to length and it melts through the material like a hot knife through butter. It doesn’t buck around at all, just goes to work and doesn’t ask to take a break. Highly recommend this tool.

This bandsaw provides more cutting capacity than the atomic one but is still very portable, and has a very nice cutting performance I am happy with my purchase, it comes with a cover on the back side which some saws lack, or is an extra accessory, I wish there were a case made for it.
