This cello is a great value for the quality of the item. The only complaint would be the default strings, but easy enough to replace.

  2. Lily tchou

The body of the cello is well made but it came with low quality strings which have to be replaced. The quality of the bow was poor and need to be upgraded. The case is a cheap one which offers little protection for the instrument. There are a lot of cellos offering at the price range of $250. For this one, while the price is doubled, the seller should give better accessories.

     Arrived quickly.
    Well packed; no damage.
    Clear set-up directions.
    Strings hold tuning.
Beautiful! Details like ebony pegs, fingerboard, & tailpiece important (lasts longer).
This is a back-up/ outdoor use instrument. Since I play quite a bit, I’ll upgrade the strings, but the bow is just fine for my backup. Not sure new strings are necessary for a beginner.
Highly recommend for beginners or a 2nd cello for outdoor gigs and/or lessons.
