Adhesive will not stick to anything. Instructions say to let cure for 24 hours but they all fell off before then. I bought because I didn’t want to use screws.

– le chiusure e gli adesivi sono resistenti e più che sufficienti per impedire a bambini di aprire armadietti (senza magnete anche un adulto ha difficoltà ad aprire le ante)

Punti di debolezza:
– se le ante hanno dei tappini di gomma che le distanziano dal corpo dell’armadio, l’installazione è un po’ più difficile e forse la chiusura è un po’ meno resistente (parte dell’adesivo del pezzo che va attaccato al corpo dell’armadio non viene attaccato a nulla perché si trova nello spazio tra anta e armadio)
– bisogna fare attenzione che nulla di sottile interferisca con le chiusure (ad es. tappetini che si infilano nella parte mobile della chiusura): c’è il rischio che l’anta non si apra nemmeno con i magneti. In questo caso bisogna ricorrere purtroppo alla forza bruta.
Conclusione:
Funzionano e con un minimo di accortezza si installano facilmente. Prodotto consigliato.

If you pull hard enough you can definitely open these but it’s a great deterant for my toddler and she loses interest pretty quickly. I love that you can leave them unlocked which is really helpful when we are using the cabinets a lot. I didn’t find the little tool installer super helpful and had better success doing it by hand but that’s probably a me thing.
I also shared some with my parents for their cat who likes to open cabinets and get into places they would rather she didn’t go. They were super excited that they worked. The cat was pretty unhappy about it (lol). They ended up buying their own set after they tried it out plus they were happy to kid proof certain areas for the the grandkids especially since they can leave them unlocked most of the time when they aren’t visiting.

This works great! It was easy to install and prevented us from putting holes in our cabinets. It works with our toddler! I also like that there is a switch so that you can choose when to lock the cabinets and when to keep them unlocked.

I liked that the cabinet locks were easy to install and did not require screws but I worry if they will be able to hold up to a toddler tugging at it repeatly overtime. Also, I originally liked the idea that I could turn off and on the locking mechanism but now I worry that I or my spouse will forget to turn it back on defeating the purpose. The switch also seems a little flimsy. I think metal would make it seem more secure. There are only 2 keys for the 12 locks which is fine if you are using it in just 2 rooms however my locks are spread out in 4 rooms so I wish I had more keys.
The corner blockers are too bulky to be effective for my needs (corners of coffee table) they extend over the top of the corner and the next day my arm bumped it and it fell right off. These are only effective on straight corners with right angles and approximately 1 inch thick (if smaller it will bump off)

We bought these Magnetic Cabinet Locks for when our grandkids come visit. They are very easy to put on. To install: you clean the cabinets or drawers with alcohol first, then you place the magnetic lock on. It is best if you allow a minimum of 24 hours for them to dry. The magnetic lock can be left unlocked when you don’t need to use them, and locked when you do. If you want to you can screw them in as well.
We keep the magnetic opener up above the hood of the stove out of the kids way.
One thing I would recommend is that you don’t allow your kids or grandkids to play with magnetic alphabet letters on the refrigerator if you’ve installed these because they might be able to open the locks.

I needed to baby proof cabinets but was weary on using the latch locks because the baby could get his fingers slammed inside cabinets with those because the opening is wide enough for his finger to go through. So I researched and found this and wow super awesome. Easy to install, you can’t open at all without the key and the key is magnet so you can place high on the fridge and never lose it. I just love this and the price is great a well.

The jig provided makes the install easy and the magnet release tool works well.
The box says that screws can be used if your child is ‘godzilla’ (or something of that nature).
Turns out my 4-year old granddaughter is just such a creature, but it took a lot of determination for her to pull that off.
Some discussion addressed the issue but the screws would have done the job, I think.

We have used these for a few years. One broke so I needed a new set and they work fine for keeping small kids and pets out of cabinets.
The hardest part for me was installing them so that they worked. Being retired it is more difficult for me to get in and out of cabinets and work from my back looking up to get the catch installed. Once I did that and had them properly placed these work very will. I do suggest that you use a pencil to mark the installation spot on the magnetic latch portion so that it is easy to place them or replace them (is was my case.).
I fully recommend these.
