Benny Hawkins –
I purchased a fretless custom made bass guitar. I wanted to tune it B-E-A-D from standard tuning. Apparently these are supposed to be good strings for that.
They are , and I recommend them
Gerardo Valles –
las compré para bajar la afinación sin aumentar el calibre de las cuerdas y aunque asàestán anunciadas realmente no mantienen mucha más tensión que las cuerdas regulares.
cole –
somehow, no matter what adjustments i make, these are the most fret buzzing strings i’ve ever used.
tone wise, lots of clank and enough thump, no mids.
chunkz220 –
Love these but they do die out and sound like blah haha. Great for recording I wouldn’t use them live
Bottom end –
I’d buy another set and they really hold the tuning.
Justin McClelland –
Great strings will buy again!
musicianwarrior –
Love DR strings. The DDT series seem to hold true to their intended purpose. I tune to C# standard and find these to be a great fit. Although I enjoy trying new strings, I always come back to or have sets of DR’s on hand for my bass. Good stuff.
Amy Costner –
I bought these based on a recommendation from a reputable source as it was time to change my strings out. My ESP LTD TA-204 FRX played beautifully and had no buzzing anywhere on the neck. Maybe I just got a bad batch? But now it’s hard to find a place that doesn’t have an awful buzzing sound. Think I’ll be going back to D’Addario.
Marco Rebollini –
Prese per provarle e il mio amico bassista si trova super bene. Siamo accordati in semi tono sotto più il drop in C#…a strumento intonato, tengono bene.
Bil Sanders –
DR nailed it with these strings! Once the Black Beauties wear out on the 5 string, I’ll be getting these for it, too. Quick shipping, too! THX!
Uldis –
Best strings for my needs.
Ponce –
As advertised
Woz –
Looking for a stiffer string when I drop tune. Still not as good as GHS BASS boomers
