First I want to say I’m a big guy. I go through thrones like they’re going out of style. I’m hard on all of my equipment.

This throne built quite sturdy, and has a decently sized saddle on it. I have to say it’s the MOST comfortable throne I’ve ever sat in. I definitely recommend.

DW is a great company I own a lot of DW equipment I play Pearl drums but I use DW mounts and hardware but this stool is awesome I won’t have any worries touring with it it is professional grade it’s the sturdiest stool I have set my rump on I can’t believe DW can sell this at that price kudos and lots of love to DW

I tried out a bunch of thrones, and was surprised that I ended up choosing the DW as their stuff — nice as it is — tends to be pretty overpriced. Not this product: extremely comfortable seat, very sturdy base, packs down to a reasonable size, and the price point was more than competitive with Pearl, Tama, etc.

Seat lives in our garage with my son’s drum kit. But whenever I am working on something else there on a desk next to the kit, I’ll take the opportunity to use this seat. Now I am considering getting one for my office as well – it is just so amazingly comfortable.

Bought for my Husband as a Christmas Gift. He was very impressed by the comfort of the seat, the tractor shape was a first for him – but he liked it. It’s a very thick cushion seat. The construction is sturdy, the seat beam is a threaded milled metal (think giant screw system) – so I don’t see it loosing grip and sliding down. The rubber feat seem sturdy – hopefully the stand up to use and pressure and keep the throne from sliding. It was definitely more expensive than a plain seat – but it’s for sure a case of you get what you pay for. We’ve had 3 different musicians try it out and all of them like it.
