I’ve purchased pot and pan sets in the past. Those sets never come with larger pots 2-1/2 qt and 3 qt. This is a very study pot. Heats well and easy to clean. And for the money…great deal in my book.

1st – I get no compensation from anyone: This one heats fast! I’ve found that with the induction stove, the more “magnetic” the metal, the faster it heats. This one is solid! And design features exactly as I would ask…glass lid with vent hole so I can see what’s going on with no sputtering. Pour liquids without dripping due to the rim design. Handle doesn’t heat. Cleans easily (but remember – don’t clean until cooled).

I love the look of this pot. Has measurement guide inside, which is so helpful. Saturday, strong, durable. Highly recommend!

Very sturdy easy to handle has a glass lid & cooks food evenly. A nice quality sauce pan. I will purchase another one but larger. This one is small but great for water & vegetables.

Excellent pan with its heavy bottom not easy to let it overboil. Really good value for mney a good quality item will buy again – maybe a bigger size

I got this to use on a convection hot plate and it worked fine. But I normally use it every day on a regular stove where it also works great. I really like the glass see-through lid with a vent but the handle on top can get hot. The pot itself is well made the handle is well-connected, doesn’t get loose. It’s easy to clean up with baking soda and vinegar if need be and it’s very nice looking. A veggie steamer fits inside – to put the lid on you can pull the sides of the steamer in a bit and the lid fits on top of it and shuts tightly. Very nice stainless steel quality

I bought three sizes of Duxtop saucepans since my old set that I loved for years does not work on my new induction stove. These pans are quite heavy and very flat bottomed so they are perfect for the job. I just wish I could get a whole set to replace my others that “work”, just not as well as these designed specifically for induction use. I particularly like the vent holes in the lids that help keep the contents from boiling over. They clean up very nicely and the Bar Keeper’s Friend cookware cleaner they recommend has kept them looking brand new.

I bought this for my my new induction countertop stove. Fudge won’t boil over in this pan. It’s over 2 quarts. I bought the induction cooktop mainly for use in the summer. My gas stove puts out a lot of heat. I can make fudge, no bake cookies and side dishes in this pan on the cooktop in the summer without heating up my house. This pan has a heavy base. Very solidly made. Love the glass lid.

This is a good quality pot. I have Lagostina, Demeyere, AllClad and Hexclad pots and this little guy is not behind any of them yet very affordable. I have an induction cooktop and it is perfect for induction. It heats up very quickly. It boils water quicker than my kettle. It has a heavy bottom and the food doesn’t stick much. And even when it does (it is not a non-stick after all), the cleaning is easy. I just soak it a bit and hand wash normally. Never had a need to scrub.
It is my go to pot for boiled eggs, oats, rice, boiled/ steamed veggies, kraft dinner etc.

Excellent quality

I like the heavy duty feel and thick base. It cleans up well and boils water faster than my Cuisinart 2 qt did. The initial oil treatment before use was something new to me but went ahead and followed the instructions. Maybe that helps with discoloration that people are complaining about. Also need to be careful not to put salt in the water until it’s boiling to avoid pitting. For rice I put a shish kabob skewer in the lid vent and it works fine. Handles are comfortable and stay cool enough that a pot holder isn’t necessary. Might just be my favorite pot of all time…
Mr. D. Worthing –
My 2.5 QT was way too much water, then I’ve been using my 1 QT and it boils over all the time. So glad I searched and found this in-between pot. Boiling water requires a lot of energy, the days of using a large pot to boil are gone, unless you can afford to consume huge amounts of electricity and gas. So I’m learning to cook potatoes, rice, pasta and blanch veggies in a smaller pot and yes filling it. This pot has good conduction and heats fast. The only down is the edge, but I can live with that.
