My only complaint is that it’s a bit bulky and I have to remove them before putting them in the case. Which wastes time setting up and breaking down. But they’re extremely sturdy and easy to install, no complaints there. DW always makes great equipment

I bought my ex’s grandson a small set for his 8th birthday, he didn’t have the patience to learn the instrument.
I ended up modding it into a small, portable jazz kit.
The bass drum is 16″, I built a wooden block riser with a flatbar for the beater side, and these spurs for the resonance side.
Make sure you get the right ones for your hoops, I had wooden hoops, but they make them for steel hoops if you convert a floor tom into a bass drum.
Definitely worth the small investment.

These were just what I needed. They fit perfectly and they work great on my “Yamaha stage custom advantage” drum set. Great drum legs. Very easy to install.

They work great – especially for a vintage drum restoration. Old bass drum spurs were poorly designed compared to newer models. I restored a 1954 WFL set and didn’t want to put back on the original spurs. Yet I wanted to retain the vintage vibe and didn’t want to drill new mounting holes in the shell. What’s more vintage than hoop mounted spurs? These don’t damage the shell – can be placed anywhere on the hoop and have adjustable feet. Only complaint is you need a drum key to install and remove. So it now takes me a whole extra 30 seconds to set up and tear down. I think I’ll get over it. If you are looking for hoop mounted bass drum spurs, you should seriously consider these,
