Sure, they don’t look like a skull and crossbones, but they work well and seem like they will last forever. If you want to use them on your drums, but not wear them as a necklace, these are the drum keys for you. If your drum keys need to make a fashion statement, look elsewhere.

Considering these are DW drum keys they dont fit my DW tuning rods very well. I purchased these to replace a cheap no name one I had purchased in a pinch. They don’t sit flush with the tuning rod and wiggle around a lot. Don’t all DW tuning rods have the same head? They work but I feel they could have been better.

The picture may not reflect actual product. I knew that going in from other reviews and looking up product number. The product I received are nice heavy duty DW brand drum keys. Look no further if you want HIGH QUALITY drum keys. Very pleased.

These drum keys are well-manufactured and have a keyring hole. So if I need a drum key on me at all times I can just attach it to my keychain. No more lost drum keys.
Except I am not a full-time drummer and I don’t like leaving these attached because I only need a drum key maybe once a year or so. But they’re cheap enough that if I lose them in the meantime, no big deal!

These keys are a nice value, but I really prefer another style that I have which is more like a screwdriver with a flexible elbow joint. Not sure what to call it, but it allows you easier access at angles. Still, these classic drum keys are good to have in your bag.

It’s DW. What can I say? It’s a good drum key. I noticed they have a smaller foot print in my pocket yet they have enough leverage to tighten all my stuff.

I love these. People don’t know it, but these can also be used to tune a drum set! Sure people buy them for their sleek design and killer magnetic attraction to the opposite sex. But when you place them onto a drum nut, they fit! And you can now actually turn the nut! What else can I say about these babies?! They are metal and work just fine.
