Good for nothing product.waste of time and money

Maybe results are different on Windows or Android. In iOS, the software prints every label with different font sizes, based on the first letter of the label. I bought this, and labels, to label my electrical panel, and for future uses. “Dining” and “Livingroom” are completely different sizes… Dining prints in noticeably smaller font that Livingroom. Television and Island print the biggest. There is no option in the iOS software to specific font pt size, only margin size. Margin size suggests the font size should fill the label vertically up to the margin. Suspecting maybe it is a bad font definition of the D and L letters, I tried five different fonts, and they all had the same results. Additionally, the notched display has been around for over 3 years, and the sofware still lis unable to render the app’s content correctly, making usage of the iOS app very difficult.
I have a Mac, so I tried their Mac desktop print software. As soon as I installed it, my system core-dumped. After a reboot, things seemed okay until I connected the printer, then it core dumped again. I cannot review the quality of the MacOS software, because their software is not compatible with macOS Catalina (10.15.7).
I have tried several time to contact support, but it appears their desktop and iOS software isn’t the only broken software as their website is also broken, preventing me from seeing how to contact Demo for support.
And finally, this printer is very difficult to find on their web site, and the software they recommend to use on the label printer does not list the label printer under the list of supported printers.
Very poorly managed software. It doesn’t matter how great the prints look quality wise, because ALL of their software and support is absolute garbage. I am trying to return it through Amazon now.

I researched labelers for a long time before selecting this product. In fact, I spent WAY too much time looking, comparing, reading reviews, watching videos, and comparing prices. This one does everything I want: can print wide labels (up to 1 inch); rechargeable battery for portability; can work over Bluetooth for app-based printing or connected to a PC via USB. The app on iPhone is OK and could use some improvement, but it is not bad at all. I haven’t tried the PC connection yet. The only compliant – and I think others have mentioned this – is that the device does not automatically connect to the phone when the device powers on. You have to go to Settings and connect it. There could be good reasons for that, but I’m not sure.

The media could not be loaded.
I experienced a few minor hiccups setting the unit up. I decided to uninstall the app, reinstall it, and start over. It worked just fine after that. Although not robust, the app is simple and easy to use. Charging is quick. The app to printer time is immediate. The product seems to be slightly larger than you’d think it has to be. That’s not a major problem though. It works just fine. The price is slightly higher than I’d like it to be. I purchased it for $70. A better selling price would be $49.99. Less people will buy this unit at its current price. Not many people make labels on a regular basis. This will be stored away after I make a few labels this week. Over time bluetooth protocols change. There fear is that the unit might fail at some point in the future when I need to use it again. If so, I’ll be upset at the fact that I dropped $70 on it. But, I’ll keep my fingers crossed.

My heartburn with this product is durability. The tape gets stuck in the machine over and over again. I only used it a few times but because I had it year!, it is no longer under warranty. Now I am stuck with unused tape that is specific for this labeler that I can’t use. When it worked it was convenient and I truly liked it but when it doesn’t, it eats up your tape which is a waste of money…

I love this labeler so much that I bought two! One for home and another one for the office. I have found it easy to operate using the DYMO app, and interchanging different label cartridges. As long as internet access is not an issue, this is the perfect labeler!

Reasonable price. I used to organize my greeting cards but can be used for anything. I even printed off a little congrats sticker for my mom doing some scrapbooking. Comes with 10’ of white 1” label, plugs to power on, USB cable to charge battery and one battery. Worked well out of box, downloaded DYMO app and printed within 10 minutes of receiving package! Easy to use. Great print quality. App gets stuck between switch of label size but I just closed out and it printed fine. Easy to pair with my iPhone. I love the fonts that are available. Easy to switch labels in machine and easy to open, charge and use!

Works great. Easy to install and use the app.
Dislikes. Seller used Purolator to ship. Purolator could not see a wall in front of them if it fell on them. It too a week from the first attempt to deliver to finally get it done. Next time I buy something and find out Purolator is delivering it, I will cancel my order.

I am giving this printer 5 stars, but there is a caveat with that rating. I love the concept of a wireless label printer so I can stand in my repair shop and label parts drawers or label the parts themselves while using my iPhone. So much easier than my old hand-held dymo battery operated labeler. However, I have an iPhone (iOS 10.3.3) and the vertical spacing for a multi-line label, such as a 5 line address label (name, street, city/state/zip, home phone, cell phone) is horrible using the iPhone Dymo Connect. The same label, printed from both my iPhone and from my computer, using the same font, the same point size, same layout, gives two very different line spacings. The one printed from my computer, using Dymo’s Label 8.6.2 software leaves a bit of space between the lines (as one would expect) while the one printed from my iPhone has the top of lines 2, 3, 4, 5 touching the bottom of the line above — completely unusable for any sort of professional presentation.
Other than that I really like this label printer. When printing from my computer it’s fabulous, wireless or cabled. And for printing labels for the many parts drawers in my repair shop even using the iPhone will be acceptable. And for labels printed from my iPhone, if there aren’t too many lines of text, I can simply insert a blank line if I need to for legibility.
