Ein großer Pluspunkt ist, dass das Gerät keine Batterien benötigt und man auch auf die Schnelle gut lesbar und vor allem haltbar (die erhabene Prägung geht nicht verloren wie bei Gedrucktem, das Band klebt gut) viele verschiedene Dinge beschriften kann.
Die Beschriftung mögen einige langweilig finden, andere – wie ich – finden, dass es einen gewissen Retro-Charme mit sich bringt, wenn man auf diese Weise etikettiert. Gefällt mir sehr!
Was ein bisschen nervt, da schließe ich mich den anderen Rezensenten an, die das erwähnt hatten, ist die Tatsache, dass man erstmal üben muss, um die einzelnen Buchstaben schön gerade und ansehnlich, also auch fest genug, auf das Band zu prägen. Auch den Tipp, dass man das Gerät am besten immer leicht auf eine Seite gekippt hält, um die Buchstaben auf einer Linie zu haben, sollte man beachten. Und, nicht zuletzt, dass man immer ein paar Leerzeichen machen muss, bevor man mit dem eigentlichen Prägen beginnt, darf man auch nicht vergessen, da sonst der erste Buchstabe genau auf der Kante liegt oder schlimmstenfalls nur zur Hälfte auf dem Band landet.
Das klingt alles komplizierter als es ist. Nach 2-3 Versuchen am Anfang hat man den Dreh raus! Und man vergisst das eigentlich auch nicht mehr.
Mit dem “DYMO Omega” ist es ganz einfach, mal eben “aus dem Handgelenk” ein paar schicke Etiketten zu gestalten.
Den Preis habe ich im Vergleich zu einem Angebot vor wenigen Jahren als relativ hoch empfunden. Damals gab es den “DYMO Omega” bei einem bekannten Discounter für etwa die Hälfte! Da ich ihn damals (zu meinem großen Ärger heute) nicht gekauft hatte und er mir aber nicht aus dem Kopf gegangen ist, habe ich ihn schließlich hier bestellt.

I tried this product 3 times- I’m not sure why, I should of stopped after 1, but every time it breaks after I make a few labels. The letters don’t punch well and the scissors tab doesn’t cut- don’t recommend

Bir kaç denemeden sonra kolaylıkla kullanıcak bir ürün, harf çarkını saat yönünün tersine yani sola doğru çevirerek kullanın. Zaten kutudan çıkan küçük kullanım kılavuzunda resimli olarak anlatılmış. Harfleri yazarken biraz bastırarak 2 saniye basılı tutun belirgin olarak yazıyor. Bantı kestikten sonra ise yeniden yazmak için çarktan boşluk simgesinse 1 veya 2 defa hızlıca basın bant yeniden yazmaya hazır hale geliyor. Bir de en önemlisi çarkın yanında alt üst ok simgeleri var, işlem yaparken onların aynı hizada olması gerek çünkü çalışma presibi böyle işliyor. Sonra bozuk sanıp iade etmeyin..

Worked to begin with, bought a whole bunch of refills in different colors and on sale, then it quit working and I have atleast 12 rolls that’s useless. this unit is nothing like the ones in the 70’s that would at-least last a year. This unit should be recalled and replaced with a working and more reliable unit, so many bad reviews and their still selling this junk.
