This is now my 4th heater so I have a feel for what is good and not so good…
This product is average in almost every way. The sheet stainless is thin, especially on the heat deflector on the top.
The product is easy to install and the instructions are straight forward. The parts fit and unlike items made in the US, there is one extra screw or bolt in the event one is damaged or dropped!
The heater fired up on the first try and heats very well. The heater does what you expect. I find this heater to be no better or no worse that other brands I have purchased in the past. The price is competitive with other heaters of this style. So all in all, it is average in my eye.
The one thing different is this unit comes with brackets to secure the unit to the ground/deck/whatever it is sitting. This is the first unit that has come with that safety feature and to prevent damage.

A large patio sits in front of my house. Large enough to have a seating area and the propane heater for those colder North Texas days from late December through February. Out of the box rises stainless steel polished to a burnished mirror quality. Stellar instruction book that shows the parts and the steps. The pieces are either large sections of the propane heater or tiny bolts, screws, and caps that hold it together. Three sections exist: the armor-like bottom that will encase a 20-pound propane tank, the shield-like roof that shelters the fire drum, and all that is connected by poles. Handling 50,000 BTUs takes an infrastructure, but East Oak also added human functionality with a squarish table top. It is not made for the faint-hearted, but it is totally doable. Bolts, screws, and caps are all organized on a yellow sheet, labeled, and encased in plastic until needed, and you get the tools with it. Bottom rollers first with the screws for the tabs that help balance and allow a permanent placement if required on the bottom platform. Next, the three stainless steel canes bolted into the platform. It is an incredible work of engineering with the pole that has the curved bottom phalanges. Only partially screw it in till all three sides are done since you have to pull to align the holes up. Once that pole on the system is sturdy, on goes the armor-like covering. Now one can wheel it around. You feed the hose through for the propane system. Next, the three arcs are blue, where you pull off the protective covering and back to shiny stainless steel. One feels like a shield maiden from some Viking raid as you screw together the sections and put on the cap. A powerful experience in building. Meooow. If you lay it on its side the fire drum after attaching the shield and line that pole with the other pole on the armor propane tank section on top of a box one can screw it all together by yourself. Stand it up and tighten it all down. It will fit through a regular house door when tipped. North Texas still has high 80s and 90s-degree heat, so it will fire up later in the year when it cools off. I will have my engineer son check my work for approval, the hose, and the regulation system to ensure proper ignition, like a Mars mission protocol.

I like entertaining in the backyard but it can get a bit too cold to do so, but this makes it all possible year round. It is easy to put together and operate. I am always a bit worried about using propane but it is straightforward to connect. It provides a lot of warmth and heat and I am looking forward to using it for Halloween and for the holiday season this year!

Wow, this outdoor heater is awesome. The heat radiating from it is super powerful with a good spread. The unit stands over 6 feet high with the control knobs at a comfortable reaching height. The heat shield on the top allows the heat to flow down and outward instead of upward like a fire pit. The heat is easily felt up to 4 feet away. Assembly is basic with clear and easy to understand instructions. Having a workshop table is helpful for attaching the shield to the top as it can lay on its side with the top off the edge to attach the shield. The outer tank cover easily lifts up and rests on the frame supports to change your propane tank. The tank valve is easy to access through the front opening with plenty of space for a comfortable twist of the valve knob. It lights up quickly and the heat is felt immediately. The red glow takes about a minute to fully fill the outer screen. The overall design and construction is good with a nice durable feel. The back wheels feel secure and have a good glide making it easy to transport from the garage to the desired area of use. Definitely much easier than a fire pit and more efficient with the heat. I’m very happy with the functionality, quality, design and value. Great for enjoying the outdoors during the chilly winter months.

Pleasantly surprised at the quality of this patio heater. The assembly took under an hour and the instructions we mostly clear until the end, the booklet didn’t tell you to place the bottom cover on before securing the upper portion on the base. This was relatively an easy fix once I realized and only required I remove 4 screws to remedy. The wheels on the base make it a breeze to relocate. I’m excited to grab a propane tank and get it fired up this fall!

Very well designed patio heater fueled by propane. The sturdy heater puts out up to 50,000 BTU of heat in a twenty foot radius. The unit is made of durable stainless steel and has wheels for easy moving. The heater has overheating and tip protection as well. Easy to assemble and to use.
