Β sounds great with practice, slide it a bit stiff but works easier with provided slide oil.
    overall great for a beginner.

Β Overall construction, fit, and finish are excellent for price-point. Very lightweight but robust enough to withstand handling by a young beginner. Tone is midrange heavy and full so it won’t cut through (which could be a good or bad thing depending on your application). Feel is lighter and smaller than more expensive intermediate models.

Out of the box, the slide was a little ratchety but slide grease it up and let it settle and it will improve tho you may never get it to be slick. I would say this instrument is ample for elementary-middle school student. A high school student could use this as a practice instrument at home but may not be suitable for heavy ensemble playing for tone and volume in a group.

All included accessories are adequate. I would upgrade the slide lube and mouthpiece out of the box.

When the trombone arrived I was nervous because the box was damaged in transit. Opening, we were pleasantly surprised. The case and more importantly the instrument was pristine. My son is a beginner and his instructor has been very pleased with the quality and sound of his trombone. It is just light enough for my 5th grader, but not so light it feels cheap. I would highly recommend this trombone to anyone who wants one, regardless of age.

The trombone slide is scratchy when you move it and it gets stuck easily. Have tried many things to fix it but I can’t. The tone is nice but the sticky scratchy slide makes it hard to play.

The case it comes with is nice and high quality.

Purchased a trombone for my grandson. Slide didn’t work when received. Sleeves were bent and rippled. Slide would barely move. After making contact with the company their rep said she would send a new sleeve and slide. Four months went by and no sleeve and slide. So I wrote a review, and i got an email from Kyra, a different company rep. And within one week I received a new trombone. Opened the case and the slide works perfect. To test the slide I unlocked the slide and put the end of the slide on the floor. Then raised the slide up vertically by the cross bar nearest the mouthpiece. The slide should remain on the floor and move smoothly up and down.
    The new trombone is perfect.
I’m very impressed and happy with this trombone, and Kyra.
    Thank You,
    Gary

This is the email I received from my son’s band teacher, and his best friend in class went through the same exact thing, because we both purchased the same trombone from this seller!

“Today in ____’s band lesson, we went to oil his slide because it was super stiff. When we went to put oil on, we noticed that the whole bottom half of his slide had rust on it, coming from a welded joint at the bottom of the trombone. This was very concerning, as it typically takes years of not being used and storing in a damp environment for this to happen. I then went to clean the rust off the slide, and when I took the slide casing off, the inside of bottom of the slide had mold and evidence of deteriorating metal. I am not sure where this trombone is from, but by the state of it, it is not going to last very long, and I am concerned about Dean playing and instrument that had mold and metal deterioration. I have never seen anything like this before on a new instrument, and I am wondering if the slide/trombone is not made out of the correct type of metal. The rust and deterioration of metal have nothing to do with his care of the instrument. I believe it is just not made out of the correct material. My recommendation would be, if you are able, would be to look into getting a different trombone from one of the local music stores. I understand that this may be hard, but I would rather be safe than sorry as I do not know what breathing in the materials, I cleaned out of his slide could do to his health. Thank you and please let me know if you have any questions.”

We then went and purchased a used trombone for over $300 at a music store πŸ˜”
