Ordered this mount because there isn’t anything on the market made for the 2022 Apple TV yet, and I have to say I’m impressed. It’s a simple and effective mount. Using the included washers I was able to mount it under my existing vesa wall mount. The tie down points for the straps double as a little support shelf for the device, and they feel sturdy. I will purchase again the next time I need a universal mount!

Used this plate to install a mini cable box to the back of my tv. It turned out great, there was not much flat surfaces to use tape. And tape can eventually fall off. This plate was easy to install to behind one of the mounting screws. Then used zip ties to secure the cable box to the plate. Highly recommend

Mount allows for flexibility of devices to be mounted out of the way. Design of the mount is compatible with different types of mounts as well. Device can shift side to side (as the hook/loop strap goes vertically across the device). This doesn’t bother me as I don’t expect the device to be subjected to forces where it would make that a concern.
Overall it was easy to install. Recommended, especially for the lack of mounting options for newer (2022) Apple TV 4K.

I bought two of these to hide a cable box and a streaming device, and I am really happy I did. While I know I could have just used zip ties and attached the devices to the TV bracket, these mounts made it easier and cleaner. They went on easily and made running the cables behind the TV less of a hassle. Each mount holds one device, and while I would have liked to use only one, the cable box filled most of the space so that was not an option. What I also like is it holds the devices just off the back of the TV so heat can escape. If you’re OCD like me and want our boxes out of the way and could cable management neat I highly recommend them.

The instructions say the max is 3 pounds but i put this on the back of my tv with the screw and then i strapped my phillips hue bridge, network switch, lutron hub, and google wifi to this plate and then attached a surge protector below it using velcro tape to clean up behind my tv. It took about an hour to get it all unplugged and reconnected

I have this on the back of my large OLED. It holds the apple tv and network switch easily. Slid into the tv stand easily. I might even add a 3rd small item. I like it’s big enough to hold everything.

Yes, you can use it to attach a streaming device to a wall-mounted TV.
But it’s better designed to attach a small device to the back of a TV that has wall-mounting holes but is sitting on feet that don’t use them.
The bracket attaches to just one screw of the standard VESA mount on the back of the TV. If you’re using a wall mount, it slides between the TV and the mount. Your TV will be slightly skewed relative to the mount as a result, because one of the four mounting points will have the extra thickness of the bracket to deal with. It would be better if the mount attached to two of the VESA screw holes, or included a set of washers the same thickness as the bracket to even things out.
While you CAN use the bracket to attach a TiVo Mini to a TV, it doesn’t fit very well. The bracket is just a bit small for that, and the included straps, while innovative and sturdy, take up a fair amount of space as well.
So, it works okay, but there’s room for improvement.
