Melissa –
I love RPGs. I heard good enough things about this game so I decided to purchase it. This is my first Dragon Age game. I couldn’t be more pleased!
Pros:
– BEAUTIFUL
– So many different areas to explore, each with their own climate and environment
– What a storyline! I am personally invested in all the NPCs, and take joy in conversations with them
– It actually feels like a war is going on, e.g. there are enemies in battle with each other that you can join the fight for
– Missions! It feels as though you are really contributed to the game world
Cons
– Uhhh this is tough
– I think the only thing that bothered me was, however many times I tried to customize my Herald, she always seemed to look the same
Tips
– Leave the Hinterlands! There is so much more to explore 🙂
– Do the closing the Breach quest! You will thank me. You think the game is good? Do this quest and it gets soooo much better.
– Don’t be afraid to spend your skill points! You can buy a reset from a merchant at any time to fix them.
Overall, its a great game. It keeps itself fresh! All the NPCs are interesting, and the storyline has kept me engrossed. I recommend this game!
Amazon Customer –
I ordered this game based on a friend’s recommendation. I am glad I did! This is a brilliant RPG with good graphics, excellent gameplay, many many hours of play time. The choices you make in the game affect what happens. I am about 30 hours into it and no idea when it ends, but it seems huge, as I am only level 10. You get to fight dragons! How cool is that?!

I really enjoyed this game. Great characters, story, world, graphics*, gameplay*, etc. I played this game through the first time on Xbox 360. Was not that great due to game breaking graphics and gameplay issue. Characters would not load so you saw only floating spells, meshes clipping in background scenery, sound not loading, freezing, frame rate dips, etc. I think the game was too much for the XBox 360 or Bioware did a halfhearted job of QCing the older platform versions. On the Xbox One, the graphics were great, had no freezing, had no freamerate dips, and no loading issues. Was much easier to get sucked into the game the second time around. I loved it much more and was sad when it was done. I will say that the Trespasser DLC seemed like the true ending to the game. It should have been part of the original game instead of behind a pay wall. The other DLC was not critical to the game’s canon and I have no problem with it being DLC.

as someone who played a bunch of fantasy video games it can be up my alley plus I’d played a lot of Skyrim and Dragon Age so this game can be fun
Charles A. Bailey –
I had heard good things about this game and decided to give it a try.
I found myself liking the combat system, visuals, characters, story, and crafting system the most.
What I did not like were the repetitive side missions even if they tool place in breath taking atmospheres.
I am now waiting for Dragon Age 4 and can’t recommend this game enough for fans of the series.

What I like about this product is the game is open world

For a five year old game, it still manages to look amazing. Gameplay and story are engaging. If you’re a fan of stacking abilities, getting loot and lots of customization, check this game out.

A game with huge replay-ability. It plays out like a novel that you are writing, with many options and outcomes to choose from. If you want to take this game to the next level, I highly suggest you invest time in acquiring good weapon and armor schematics as early as possible (go to the hissing wastes!!). Doing this allows you to play on the harder difficulty settings successfully and is totally worth it.

Exactly what I was looking for. This is a great game I started on Xbox 360 and wanted to transfer my save file to One X to play the DLC not available on 360. GOTY edition includes Black Emporium, which cannot be bought separately right now and (in addition to being useful during gameplay) is the only method that successfully carried my save file from the 360 version to the One.
I received a sealed game with a single code that downloaded all promised content (but not individual codes, so all content has to go on the same device). This was much cheaper than the same edition at local game stores and so far the improved gameplay and additional content has definitely been worth it! (Probably common knowledge for most, but for any completionists who finally just upgraded to Xbox One like me – I was surprised to find that this game is considered separate from the 360 version for achievement collection.)
Richard –
I’d never heard of this game before, but it’s terrific. As good as the Witcher 3 in my view, with lots of fun, creative quests.
Nicky and Hannah –
I am so addicted to this game. I love everything about it. The graphics are amazing, the characters are fun and the world is breathtaking. I can get lost in the world for hours and not even realize the time. I love how you can change out the characters you take on your campaigns and that you can control any of the characters you take with you. I enjoy travelling to the different parts of the world to complete quests. I like that you can ride a horse to get places quicker and that the horse disappears when you are fighting. I really dislike it when a game kills off your horse, so I am pleased that has not happened yet. I love the conversations and banter between the players. I also enjoy the puzzles. I wish there were a few more puzzles to solve along the way, but you can’t have it all. I am so very, very happy that I purchased this game.

Love it waiting for the next game to come out

Massive save issues. EA has not addressed this issue. When you go to load a save file, they are corrupt. Most likely, you’ll be able to load a very old save and lose over 20+ hours of gameplay. Happened 3 nights in a row. Again. A massive problem that has effected 10,000 plus players. Not sure if it is ever game or what. Game was great. More bugs than skyrim. You will probably lose your last 4 saves
