Buena potencia y robustez, pero el clip se desengancha muy fรกcilmente

Funciona muy bien, aunque no se que voy a hacer cuando se acaben las pilas por que no son de un modelo muy comun que digamos (CR123 3V)

First, I am a nightshift A&P so I am very particular about my flashlights and their utility.
(-/+) The first thing you need to know about the Tac-700 version is that it has a very atypical beam–there is no bright center spot. It’s all “spill,” so if you like to direct the “spot” of a light at something and call someone else’s attention to it, this is not your flashlight. If, however, you like to lay your flashlight down as a worklight in a tight space, this one is excellent. It also prevents you from going blind to the rest of the illuminated area when you’re using the light for GVI.
(-) There is no clever power usage to make it readily apparent when the battery is drained. Much more expensive flashlights will manage their brightness to so that when the battery is nearly dead, the brightness drops suddenly, but this one lets the brightness dim slowly over the last few hours of its life.
(-) It’s rather symmetrical, end-to-end, so I’ve put a strap through the hole on the button end. Before this, I didn’t know which way I’d picked it up until I reached for the button. A flashlight with a 50% chance of being oriented wrong is kinda annoying.
(+) It’s tough enough to survive lots of chemical exposure, including Jet A, skydrol, grease, and isopropyl alcohol.
(+) The clip is quickly removable and reversible, and more robust than other inexpensive lights of this class, so you can set it up how you like.

Well constructed but you canโt adjust the beam which lets it down badly.

I’ve got 8 of these flashlights (tac-700). Two are mounted on weapons, one on a 12 gauge, one on a .223. Both have held up with no issues. It has handled the recoil of more than 200 3″ self defense loads in the 12ga, and it has handled being dropped, banged against the wall, inclement weather, and general wear and tear from monthly tactical training on the .223. The other 6 are spread between glove boxes in the cars, nightstands, and desk drawers. The lights in the glove boxes have handled extreme cold and extreme hot temperatures with no problems and no noticeable degradation of battery life, and the one on the night stand has handled toddlers snatching it up and hurling it across the room, putting it in their mouths, and other toddler torture which has ended lesser lights in the past. The tail switch on each of my lights is firm enough to prevent accidental activation, yet soft enough to be easily activated with desired, and they have a good, quality tactile feel. The size is pretty much perfect. It’s large enough to fit comfortably in the hand and allows for a firm grip even in larger hands, but small and light enough to not be cumbersome, even when mounted to a rifle. The tac-700 is extremely bright at its full setting, and at its lowest, it’s soft enough to not cause eye pain after waking up in the middle of the night. By default, you get the brightest setting first, and then have to click to get to the lower lumen settings. It would be nice to be able to program it to come on at the lowest setting first or program out the stupid strobe mode, but at under $20, you can’t fault it for not having the features of an $80 competitor. The tac-700 model uses CR123a batteries, which is what allows the light to last 2 hours at its full brightness setting (actually, almost 2.5 hours according to my testing with 2 different lights using Streamlight batteries). While some might complain about this “non-standard” battery, they are easily available at most large retail stores these days, and of course, can always be ordered here on Amazon, so there’s really no reason to complain about it. All in all, this is probably the best value for money flashlight I’ve found. While it lacks some features of superior lights, such as the ability to program the “clicks” beyond the default settings, it’s just as good at just being a flashlight, and will be more than sufficient for pretty much anyone. Stop over thinking it and buy two of them right now (you always need an extra flashlight).

Justo lo que buscaba

I didn’t check the product dimensions on this one but it was good the 3 minutes I looked at it before returning for the smaller Energizer pmtrl8

I am out driving deliveries every night and so a good bright flashlight is critical. I like something small but really powerful. Iโve now pay very close attention to how many lumens the flashlight provides. 500 is like bare minimum. This puppy is 700 so very bright and nice and small to fit on your belt or in a pocket. Iโm so impressed I just ordered two more as backups. You could go even higher in lumens, but the size and price climb pretty quick from here.

I’ve bought generic, tactical Chinese lights, it is hit or miss. If you are buying an Energizer product you expect quality and this light lives up to the promise. I have also bought lights that claimed 700 lumens, but this Energizer actually delivers 700 lumens as promised. All things considered, this light is an excellent value. Bright, compact size, feels great in hand, and well-made. You get more than you paid for. One thing I would note, this light uses a powerful lithium cr123 battery which produces high voltage (3V) and helps explain why it actually creates 700 lumens. In the past few years, I have replaced all my batteries with Nimh rechargeables. The Nimh version of the 123 will suffer in comparison to the lithium battery.
