I had one that lasted 5 years until I ran it through the washer and dryer. I just bought another one.
I refuse to get those little earbuds that fall out and need constant charging. You cant hear whats going on around you so they are dangerous when driving and useless at work for conference calls etc.
The single bud is excellent. I sat on hours of corporate calls while able to hear others at work. It is great on long trips with Waze on my cell phone. I know where I’m going and we can listen to the car stereo. Those indash guidance systems drive me nuts that way.
Noise cancellation is excellent. I took phone calls while mowing the lawn and the other end could barely hear the gas mower.
The range is better than any I have seen. I can go upstairs and get coffee without dragging the phone with me. It can talk through 3 plasterboard walls at 30 feet distance.
10 hours talk time is necessary if you want it to work all day until you get home and don’t want to plug in.
It is comfortable to wear.
It takes a little practice to learn how to set volume, put calls on hold and take another call. Read the manual carefully, there are 3 volume settings for system, telephone, and music. I turned all mine up. If you don’t set them you won’t be happy with it.
I comes with a little bluetooth usb minidongle for laptop/PC which I have never used. I think it could be used for other bluetooth devices.
IF YOU LOSE YOUR EARBUD: Just walk around while trying to connect to the earbud. You will know it is nearby when it connects. You can tell how close it is by how long it takes to connect. I lost it once in a field of grass when it fell out of my shirt pocket. I found it!
IF YOU PUT YOUR PHONE DOWN SOMEWHERE: When you connect, the earbud says “phone 1 connected”. So, if you put your phone down in a store you can turn the earbud off/on to see when it reconnects. Again, you can tell how far away the phone is by how long it takes to connect.
Suggestion: The only design flaw is that the hook is a friction fit into the earbud. After a while, the hole wears out and the earbud can easily fall off the hook and get lost (that is the only complaint I have seen about these). I drilled a tiny hole near the end of the hook and installed a tiny screw so it can’t fall off. If you don’t have watch screws etc, take it to a watch repair shop and have them put a screw in so you don’t lose it.

I was a Plantronics Voyager 5200 user for 8+ years. It was an awesome device, however given “life on the road” the device ultimately broke in some fashion–usually near a rotating part or the ear piece snapping off. I then decided to switch to Presence for its smaller profile and ability to effortlessly switch between a laptop and mobile phone. This was important given life in the pandemic has made Zooms and conference calls ubiquitous.
Sound quality wise, durability wise and switching between different devices is exceptional. People are amazed when they learn I’m actually on a bluetooth ear piece and not an in studio microphone. There is one BIG drawback of Presence compared to the Voyager: the on/off mechanism. The Presence has a “slide” function on the device to engage the phone or computer. You slide it out 1/2 an inch and the voice in your ear says “phone 1 connected, phone 2 connected” or what have you. However, you can EASILY and accidentally slide this back in and thereby disconnect the call you’re on. You go to scratch your cheek, bam you just hung up on the call. You want to adjust the ear piece and a finger hits the extended microphone causing it to slide closed and again you’ve hung up on whomever you’re speaking with. This happens WAY too frequently and is an immense pain. It’s also nearly impossible to wear the ear piece with a mask as the mask will bump the earpiece closed and hang up on who you’re speaking to. This is a real design flaw. Which is a shame as the noise cancelling and voice quality is superior to the Voyager.
Hope this helps.

So I use a lot of gadgets and always game for new options. The fact that this allows for two connections at the same time is perfect. I use the dongle for PC because although I have Bluetooth on it, I couldn’t use it without the dongle for virtual meetings. On a MAC, it connects seamlessly for virtual use.
Seamless transition from one to the other. Virtual meeting and a call comes in, it automatically mutes the virtual once I click to answer the call then returns to the meeting once the call ends.
The voice is natural on the phone and on the computer. Some complained that it was a bit artificial because of the “silence” between words due to the noise cancellation but I had no complaints at all.
Battery is way better than I expected. A full day of regular use and the charge holds if I don’t use it all.
I recommend it without reservation.

As many say, the on/off switch can accidentally be hit to turn it off; would be a bit better if the slide of the switch was a tiny bit stiffer; however, as an adult, I quickly learned how to not turn it off on accident.
The sound quality is superb; I swear it even cleans up noise from the other party.
The volume can go so loud that some people hurt my ears and can even clearly hear my even mother who talk on the phone like she is in church trying to gossip about Irene.
It is super light – feels nice on the ear once you get it adjusted…just like any other damn in ear device…ever.
The ONLY real complaint I would have if I was a whiny child is that the volume buttons on the device are a bit hard to feel, press, and feel when you have pressed. Don’t really care though as I don’t need to adjust the volume very often; 1 or 2 down from full blast is good for most calls.
Replaced a Poly craptronic with this and I will never look back….WHY PLANTRONICS!?!?! WHYYYY!?!?!?!?!!!!!

Loving the fact it is most lightweight device I ever used. Very easy to use and connect. Simultaneous connectivity with both mobile and laptop is most amazing feature. I am loving it.
