Contento con el resultado de sonido. Mi bombo pedia cambio de parches ya y es un plus que tenga la opción de poder quitar la almohadilla gris para que no quede tan apagado si quieres.

La almohadilla interna ayuda perfectamente a controlar los armónicos odiados, y el hecho de que traiga dos medidas de almohadillas lo hace perfecto para elegir que tan ahogado deseas que suene el bombo, lo complete con el eq patch y el eq pad de evans y mi bombo suena brutal, facil de afinar, definitivamente es mi parche principal de ahora en adelante.
Si utilizas single pedal y quieres añadirle un patch al bombo el kit ya viene con uno, ahórrate ese gasto

I put them on my vintage 1972 Ludwig Black Panther bass drum and they totally changed the the tone and gave it more “punch”.
We used a sound tech that we’ve used several times in the past at a local county fair and he said it gave the drum better tone as well.

Bought these for my son, he plays on a generic 25-year-old drum kit that came from Mars music, if you remember that place. They did a good job creating their budget line drums though, and these heads make them sound spectacular! There is some versatility in the sound based on the rings. Wonderful product, I’ve been playing drums since I was about 6 or 7, these are some of the best sounding bass drum heads I’ve heard especially with the inline dampeners and adding a kick pad. It makes my 200 dollar set I recently purchased sound amazing.

Some people will swear by Remo drum skins and others by Evans. You have to figure out what type of tone you want from your drum kit. I went for the Evans EMAD skin as I was intrigued by the dampening system they have incorporated on the skin. I still use a pillow inside my bass drum and use the thinner dampening ring and my kick sounds fabulous. I have watched many videos of the Evans EMAD skin review where they don’t have any pillow/blanket inside the drum and they recommend doing the same, but i’m not quite ready to give up on the pillow just yet lol. Hopefully this helps, and remember, figure out the tone you want out of your kick and then go for the skin that will help you achieve that tone.
