I purchased this shredder for home office use 4 years ago. I usually fill up the bin once a week so i am guessing i run a few hundred sheets through per week. I have never had a problem. It easily handles all paper, and some light cardboard. Also credit cards. Only issue is if i try to put a large number of sheets or heavy cardboard through, the device will stop. It is then easy to hit reverse and back it out. Really good device and trouble free.

Very impressed by this shredder, I had an older shredder from staples and it wasn’t working well and I was getting tired of so I found this one and read great reviews. I shredded a big pile of papers, it took me maybe 30 minutes or a bit more, I filed up twice the basket haha .. it never overheated, I never forced it only put 2-3 pages at once, it does say it can take 10 sheets, I tried it but you could see that it was harder on it so, I took my time. Also very quiet compared to the old one I had.

This micro cut shredder has performed beautifully. It’s very quiet and shreds paperwork into the smallest bits I’ve yet to find with any other personal shredder. The power cutter portion weighs more than I expected, but that helps it have stability, so I don’t view that as a negative. And the window on the front drawer makes it easy to keep track of the amount of shredded contents. I only insert two or three pages at a time, figuring I don’t want to stress this wonderful piece of equipment nor deal with a potential paper jam. My last shredder also listed 8-12 sheets at a time, was always jamming, and finally burned out the motor during an unexected jam.
The paper bin holds a surprisingly large amount of debris. Opening the drawer, however, will create some mess as paper bits hanging from the shredding unit and paper dust will fall into the shredder base and onto the floor. Having the vacuum cleaner nearby is mandatory when emptying the bin. Still, no big deal as far as I’m concerned.
The roller wheels move easily and smoothly.
Overall I’m very pleased with this unit. The added plus is that Amazon’s price was lower than other providers and the unit was delivered to my home in just a few days, saving time and gas.

I can’t remember when I purchased it but I’ve ha it for quite a while. I either bought it in 2021 or early 2022 and it still shreds really quiet. It shreds to micro pieces. It has a lock/unlock feature. It’s drawer is easy to pull out and not too heavy to empty. Basically there is not anything that I don’t like about it. It does its job well!! Glad I purchased it! But do use Shredder oil in it because it will last you a very long time if you continue to lubricate it!!

I have had this for a few years now and it still works perfectly. This size of the shredded pieces is really tiny which is why I purchased this item. Every once in a while I oil the teeth. You should only put maybe 3-4 pieces of paper in it at a time so it doesn’t jam up. I have already gotten my money out of it and couldn’t be happier with the purchase.

I filled an entire 13 gallon trash bag after the first use. This machine is very quiet only about 3dB above ambient noise level. Quiet enough to have a normal conversation.
It happily took whatever I feed it. Never had a single jam.
It does shred credit cards with no issues. Standard plastic cards only this won’t shred the metal clad cards like the Amazon Prime credit card. You’ll need a professional shredder for that or a good pair of scissors. l, like the ones they show cutting pennies on 3am infomercials.
The wheels roll quite easy. There’s even little wheels on the bottom of the shredding collection bin.
Emptying it is easy too. You don’t end up with a pile of shredding in the unit either.
Go ahead and buy the oil or some oil soaked shredder sheets. I would oil the machine each time you empty the bin to ensure jam free quiet operation.

This is the third shredder I have had since around 1995. The first only lasted a couple years, so when I replaced it, I didn’t want to use an off-brand, so I got a Fellowes unit. It lasted till July this year, so about 25 years, including a move. When it gave up the ghost, I did my EE best, but it appeared that an IC had quit and I really didn’t feel like debugging it more. Since that Fellowes had lasted so long, I wanted to go back to the same brand, and found this one available on Prime Day.
This one is very quiet and cuts the paper into really small pieces, so good on those counts. The only issue I have is that it has a skinny feed slot with no taper going in, so you have to really line up the paper to go in. My last one had a rather large, tapered slot, so the paper pretty much found its own way in.
Since I don’t have to do a lot of shredding, I figure I can deal with this for the next 25 years.
A bonus I didn’t notice is that this unit has wheels, so it can be easily moved, where my last two units didn’t have this feature.
All-in-all, a good machine, but the small slot keeps me from giving five stars.

I got this shredder to replace a junk one that Consumers Reports recommended. This shredder easily shreds 10 sheets quietly with no jamming.
It states it it will run continuously for 7 minutes before it shuts down. Upon starting it up I ran it continuously for close to 10 minutes and it never shut down.

I’d been looking for a shredder for our small office for months and this one had everything I was looking for: small shredding size (almost like confetti), a quiet, powerful motor, ability to handle credit cards, and a large 5-gallon pull-out drawer so that the shredder doesn’t have to be emptied constantly, with a window so you can see how full it is. Bonus: all-direction rolling wheels so it’s easy to move.
