I am a doctor. Just received the shredder. Auto feed never works properly, will shred a few pages then stop and leave many unshredded pages. Turning the pages around does not help much. Using the manual feeder is also frustrating. Wish I had not bought this machine.

I like that you can load a stack of 8 1/2 X 11 sheets and the machine will run them through with out any further effort on your part. Other sizes have to be fed through the machine. We have a large collection of confidential files that need shredding and we have been working the machine for several hours a day. It takes rests when it gets overheated but you can still get a lot done in that time.

I had read about the inside container being made out of cardboard, and decided that the quality and features of the shredder itself would make it a worthwhile purchase. No so. Upon receipt, I saw that the plastic outer case was flimsy and had separated, and would not hold together well. No way to start a purchase and no reason to replace, since the next would be flimsy too. Would love to see Fellows make this item with a good quality inner and outer container. I am returning. Too bad

This machine is fussy – the auto feed drawer requires papers to be fully flat and jams a lot so it requires babysitting. The bin for the shredded paper is not deep enough so you are constantly emptying.
25mins of continuous work then a 25min cooldown is quite limiting.
Local is Best –
I am a big fan of the companies shredders — I was excited to be able to leave mail and other items within and walk away. This feature does not work. You still have to feed the shredder like normal. If your goal is to have “walk away” shredder — you will not be happy. Sorry

Working well. It does not jam with auto feed. Only complaint is the lid when opening flies open with gorce and no restriction until slams into wall. I fear it may break if not opened carefully each use.

Can’t say enough about this. Safe, mobile, readily handles hundreds of pages a day, quiet enough to run while my wife sleeps, micro-cut. Only jams when multiple cardstock pages try to go through at the same time or somebody didn’t remove a staple from a more than ten page doc.

La fonction automatique fonctionne très bien si vous prenez le temps de bien placer le papier, sinon c’est de la ….. De plus j’avais achetée une offre d’occasion par Amazon qui disait seulement des dommages à la boîte, mais c’était clairement pas seulement ça, elle avait déjà été utilisée, plein de retailles de papiers a l’intérieur en plus d’être égratignée à plusieurs endroits.

I paid extra money so I could get a shredder that would shred Amazon and other boxes. It does a great job on boxes-Attached are pictures of shredded Amazon boxes. The shredding action was smooth and the Fellows 200M has not jammed. The bin is large and light weight.

Pros:
-The autofeed function is convenient, and works as well as I expected it to.
-The machine had a lower noise level than I expected.
Cons:
The 8.5 gallon bin functions as a 4 gallon bin because it’s long, not deep, so the shredder constantly stops, and you need to shake the bin. The 200 sheet capacity is useless because you can’t shred that many sheets without shaking the bin.
The build quality and control panel isn’t very good. For a machine in this price range, I expected better.

a $500 shredder that does the work of a $200 one. Very disappointing. I bought this for the basket feeder. My goal was to put large quantities of paper in the basket for faster shredding. But the only paper that works in the basket feeder is standard size 8×11 paper. I thought I was investing in a shredder that could handle large volumes, but it takes just as long as my $200 shredder. Nothing special about this shredder, keep looking
