I really love the sound and quality of this guitar. I had my doubts when buying my guitar from Fender, because it said Student. Don’t let the beginner description fool you. Fender is no beginner at making fine instruments and this guitar is quality for a great price. I have used my guitar on tour and at home. Lightweight, easy to handle and maneuver the neck. It has a beautiful finish and is made of natural wood. I am very happy with my purchase.

I do a lot of reviews for budget guitars, and decided it was about time to purchase one for my personal collection of guitars that I play. I was shocked to see a Fender at low budget prices. Thinking something was up, I placed my order thinking I would be getting a budget quality disaster to review on YouTube.
When I received the guitar, I was pleasantly surprised. I gave it a quick tune and was immediately impressed. I gave it the setup runthrough. All of the frets were nice and smooth, shiny, and most importantly… level. The neck needed a minor adjustment, which is normal with acoustic guitars that have been shipped. There was really no set up to do. The build was nicely intonated, the tuners were holding the guitar in tune, and it had a very rich tone.
I did change out of the factory strings and put on some Phosphor Bronze Earthwood strings and this guitar sounded amazing. So much so, that it replaced the Martin D-28 that sat on the stand next to me in my office as my “go to” guitar. This in not a purchase that you will regret.

Thoroughly impressed! When I saw this I thought it wasn’t for real. Fender is a name brand guitar and this one was $100?! I thought I would get a knock off, but this turned out to be a great guitar. 3/4 Size which is great for my 13 year old children with smaller hands and not the strongest fingers. Nylon strings feel good and the bridge height is comfortable. Not bleeding my fingers to push hard on high strings. I wish there was a knob for a shoulder strap on the top of the guitar. Only has one on the bottom. But not hard to take to a music store and add one. Overall I’m very happy with this purchase!

Now I will say when I first ordered this guitar it did arrive damaged. This was not fenders fault but rather a mistake made with travel. I was immediately sent a replacement which I got within five days. It’s lightweight and great for travel, but plays beautifully. Great for beginners or for those that want a guitar to take on the road without it being a hassle. Looks gorgeous and has a nice open sound. Pretty impressive for the price!

Eine gute FENDER “Made in China”. Astrein und perfekt gearbeitet, da gibt es nichts zu beanstanden, auch nicht von Innen. Die Lackierung ist ganz in matt gehalten, das sieht gut aus. Fasst sich gut an und liegt gut in der Hand. Die Gitarre klingt für meine Ohren einfach sehr gut. ( Ist aber doch echt recht groß, für Kinder/ Jugendliche möglicherweise zu groß). Aber hey, probieren geht über studieren, das ist mit AMAZON PRIME ja kein Problem).

I ordered this for a costume prop and wasn’t expecting much for the price. I’m an experienced guitar player and was a pleasantly surprised when I received an easily playable, reasonably finished instrument the would be appropriate for a beginner or even early intermediate student. On the downside the frets were poorly finished and the neck needed some minor adjustment. The construction is fairly dense plywood and the sound isn’t that great, but it far exceeds my expectations for the price point.
