Antes de comprarlo vi reseรฑas y opiniones de usuarios para asegurarme de que no sea una estafa o un ssd muy malo, ya que su precio es increรญble, asรญ que al final me terminรฉ arriesgando y sinceramente que buen ssd para lo que cuesta, he reemplazado el HDD de una PC antigua que tenรญa para instalar de nuevo el S.O. y todo vaya mรกs fluido y sinceramente todo bien, ya le he pasado varias revisiones y se encuentra en buen estado. Para juegos no sรฉ si sea lo mejor, ya que tampoco es el mรกs rรกpido de los Sata3, pero para juegos que no sean mundo abierto o no tengan mucha carga grรกfico, creo que no habrรญa ningรบn problema. Excelente SSD, hasta ahora se me hace difรญcil crear lo que cuesta, pero hey, eso lo hace genial y 100% recomendado.

This Fikwot drive is a good choice at $33 CAD for a boot drive for an older computer, or wanting to expand some space and you have an extra HDD slot available. As shown in the photo, the form factor conforms well and I had no issues screwing and fitting it to my desktop. I ordered the 256GB variant though I would probably opt for something larger like 512 GB or 1TB if the intended use is for gaming.
The brand “Fikwot” is new to me, and not as well-known as Samsung, etc. where there is reliability well associated with the name, and as such I would hesitate to use it for critical applications, backup, etc. However, for $30 CAD, this is arguably the best improvement you could make to a computer, especially an aging one.

Honestly due to what seems like a randomized name, I had thought the company would be one of those that pop up and disappear to release them from any accountability. However, that doesn’t seem to be the case. I see that this company appears to be more active than ever constantly pumping out new products in the SSD space. I now also see their products pop up at other retailers too. In truth, I’m still using their FN501 Pro from a year ago in my firewall box and knock on wood, it hasn’t blown up yet.
The FX815 seems to be even more professionally packaged than their last offering. The design looks cool and the name Pluto sounds cool (no pun intended). For testing, I hooked this up to my SATA to USB3 adapter and it seems to be delivering the maximum speed I’ve ever seen from this adapter. Granted that my results were done out of convenience, I have no doubts it can perform even better when directly connected to a SATA port. What I did note however was the temperature which seems to be higher than my MX500s in both ideal and load conditions. That said, at no time did it feel hot to the touch.
My only reservations about this product are that the chipset is unknown, the flash type is low TBW QLC (which can be concerning for a drive this small), and how it handles power loss is also an unknown. That said, the drive is very affordable and has a 5 year warranty, which makes it good for non-critical use. I’d reckon that the 512GB flavor offers better value than this lowest tier model though.

Used this drive in my dell xps 8300 Desktop to replace existing sata drive. I used the Spinido clone device to copy the sata drive to the new ssd drive and it worked great. Computer bootup is quicker and all programs run much better. No noise from solid state drives and wi be using more of these drives to update other computers.

I’ve tried a variety of hard & SSD drives over the years and if they are going to fail, seems like they do it in the first 30 days or so. This has been operating as expected and no issues thus far. High hopes it will last a few years in the casual usage laptop.

With SSD pricing creating up this manufacturer offers a good value. Once I got the boot configuration worked out it was sort of easy to format and download an updated W10 system. Seems to be as fast as they claim so now we will have to see if it holds up. It is much faster than the old HD
