I would’ve loved to print the pieces that go with this, but the printer struggles to make big prints and since you only need this kit for the 5M printer, it felt silly that the prints kept failing. Out of the return window or I would’ve returned this.

Kit contains all parts and hardware you need that you cannot 3d print on your own, as well as detailed instructions. Installation is easy and you can complete it in about an hour once you have all your parts printed. Does not include superglue, which is recommended for the magnets.

This is a complete kit minus the required printed parts to fully enclose my 5M printer. It took about 5 months after purchasing my printer before this kit was available, but very happy it was finally released. Quality of the hardware and panels are excellent and the printed parts are only limited to the final print material and colors you choose for the corner and end pieces. It does take hours of printing and assembly, so it’s not a simple kit or someone who is learning how to use a printer. Great for being able to print ABS/ ASA, and other temperature/ draft sensitive material that warp easily while printing. I’ve had no issues printing items more than half the size of the build plate and 1/3 the height of the overall volume in ABS with the printer enclosed, but I still use glue on the build plate. I’d recommend printing the parts in PETG first and if you want more durability or flex of ABS, print those parts afterwards if this is your only printer. Great kit at a reasonable price point.

I got this enclosure because I was concerned about my cat messing with my 3D printer while it was printing. All of the parts necesary were included with the kit, along with necessary tools. You will need super glue or epoxy to glue the magnets in. Overall it takes about 1 1/2 spools of filament to complete the enclosure. The documentation is very clear and concise. All of the needed files are in the project wiki, along with the platters for slicing on orca slicer. Overall the kit and printable parts are well design and worth the price.

Fits the AD5M perfectly. I had all the pieces printed before receiving this kit and everything went together flawlessly. Much cheaper than purchasing the Pro, and I will probably never need the heated chamber anyways. However, this does help cut down on the noise of the printer, I have mine sitting behind a wall approximately 10’ from my bed and can hardly hear it over a TV at normal volume.

YOU GET THE PLEXIGLASS SIDES AND TOP, THE HARDWARE TO ATTACH THE ENCLOSURE, AND A NEW FEED SYSTEM FOR THE PLASTIC FIBER. THEY EXPECT YOU TO PRINT 22 PARTS WITH YOUR NEW PRINTER TO MAKE THE ENCLOSURE. YOU WILL NEED 2 SPOOLS OF MATERIAL AND OVER 100 HOURS TO ACCOMPLISH THIS. THEY GIVE YOU A DOWNLOAD PAGE THAT GIVES YOU THE ENTIRE ENCLOSURE IN 3D. YOU WILL HAVE TO HAVE 3D SOFTWARE TO DECONSTRUCT THE IMAGE AND SAVE EACH PART INDIVIDUALLY AS AN STL FILE. THERE ARE VERY FEW BEGINNNERS OUT THERE WHO CAN DO THIS. SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE AND BUY THE FLASHFORGE 5 PRO WITH THE ENCLOSURE INSTEAD.
