I build collapsible condos on my porch for the stray and feral cats in my neighborhood. I use old blankets over them and add blankets as winter gets colder. They are on my back porch and are easy to break down in the spring. The clips hold the blankets securely regardless of the weather.

I have several vegetable garden beds with 1/2″ PVC pipe hoops with row cover over that. These clips fit perfectly over the 1/2″ PVC. These are so easy to remove compared to the plastic clips you can get for row covers. They don’t rust and are a nice size that they don’t stick out too much. The only downside for securing row covers – the ends can puncture the row cover when putting them in place. It would be so awesome if they had soft rubber coated tips to prevent this.

They work great except the edges are sharp and both me and hubby has slit our fingers on the sharp edges taking them out of the box clothes pins are in. The edges do not look sharp but are like razors in parts…Otherwise I have no problems with them.

I read a review to use these kinds of clips for blanket forts so I bought them and my 6 year old clips a lot of blankets and pillows together to make forts inside. The clips hold up well with blankets and pillows. We have a lot of super soft blankets and they don’t slip though the clips. I highly recommend for blanket forts.

The material and shape of these is nice so you can clip around a chair etc. However these are manufactured with sharp edges that are not addressed, and it’s not worth it to me to sacrifice my silks. Returning and looking for a better version of the same thing.
