This is a functional passing trainer. It is really ideal if you want to get started with your kids at a young age. It’s a fun and safe way to improve hand / eye coordination. You can also practice passing and scoring aim, if you have good target to deflect the balls into.
There are some design elements that could have been better though. I really hate having to unscrew the compartment on the back, as well as having to use C batteries.
When you turn it on the balls come out so fast you can’t really turn it on for your own use without losing one or two balls. It says that they come out every 5 seconds, but luckily it’s a slow 5 seconds. So you can still get plenty of use out of 4 or 5 of the 6 balls in there.
I also dislike that there are only 6 balls included. The description says it can take up to 10 and I wish they would have included all 10.
There are some velcro straps on either side of the base. I would guess those are for strapping this unit in place in some situations, but it’s not clear from the instructions. Having an included storage / travel bag would have been super useful too.
Despite the elements I don’t love, this is a functional passing trainer and it does work. And it’s a good enough value that it’s worth getting even with the quirks.

This product isn’t great. The balls that it came with get stuck in the machine all the time. When it actually works it’s fun, but it’s been frustrating for my kids. Wish it worked better. Will likely return.

My son had a this for Xmas, he loves playing knee hockey so this was a perfect purchase, he really likes it, and the balls come out at a good speed. Only one thing, I’m not sure how long the batteries will last but otherwise I would definatly recommend it.

My son uses this indoors with a mini hockey set. Very good for what is designed to do. He has fun using it for one timers and to fool around having it “shoot” on him while he plays goalie. A lot of fun overall.
