So, I usually don’t do long reviews but I love this so much! I initially bought this as a $1 packet mask at my local dollar general. The ingredients looked really good so I thought I’d give it a try. After that first use I BECAME OBSESSED. I had to figure out what the brand was (package didn’t say) and where to find it. I did the tiniest amount of research before I found it on Amazon. I saw that it was a Freeman mask and wasn’t surprised. They’re amazing! By far my favorite inexpensive skin care brand! What really made me happy was it was a twin pack!! This stuff works miracles. I’m not exactly sure what my skin type is I do have the average amount if blemishes nothing too crazy. My skin tends to go with the seasons now. When I was in my teens I did suffer with the infamous forehead acne which is where I primarily break out now. But using this stuff has helped so much! My skin has zero pimples currently and it’s so soft and hydrated. I do use Shea Moisture’s African black soap line combined with this product and they just work so great together!

It’s a nice scrub, seems to work well. Wish it didn’t contain fragrance. Listen for the snap when closing the lid, I found mine does not close very easily. It’s pretty thick so I don’t think you’d have an issue with it spilling/leaking if it didn’t seal; I store mine upside & discovered it hadn’t sealed after the first time I’d used it & it didn’t leak. But I think you may have an issue with it drying & hardening into a slump if it’s consistently not sealed properly. I think it’s a better deal than Yes To Tomatoes which is a smaller amount for a similar price & a much runnier product.

This product is pretty amazing. When it comes out of the bottle, it is black and gritty. I don’t know if anyone else experienced a warming sensation when applied, but I did. I also think it smells great. It feels abrasive on the skin at first, but once you leave it on for approx. 5-7 mins, your skin is left feeling very smooth. My husband and I have used it once a day for the past week and have had no issues of skin irritation, redness, or drying out. Also, I am black with oily skin and my husband is white with dry skin (so it applies to all types of skin…well, at least to ours). We use a gentle moisturizer afterwards with no issues. We’ll continue to by this product.
