I ordered a dark walnut. I honestly think it’s espresso but did know until my husband put it together about the color. Easy to put together. Add more nails if it’s not sturdy. Mine is completely fine. Cheap and works for me.

Not heirloom quality lol! But you get what you pay for. Perfect for bachelor pad or college dorm room. My only complaint is the back board. It comes in 3 strips that you have to line up. Other than that it’s good. I’d buy again.

The instructions were easy to follow. Took about 45 minutes to assemble(included me uninstalling and installing pieces). The material had holes that allowed you to easily put it together. The back is very flimsy.
The finished product did not look like the picture.
I received 3 A parts, two with finished ends on 1 side and a 3rd with an unfinished end on both sides. This was a mistake. They all should have been designed the same.
Part A should be at the top of the bookcase, but the holes were not evenly aligned. I flipped mine upside down. Since there was extra space
When I ordered this product in March it said made in the USA. The PO on the box clearly says country of origin us Malaysia. I also have a record of the Amazon representative saying it was made in the USA.
It took over a month to arrive due to the COVID19 pandemic.
I would’ve ordered again so that I could’ve had matching bookcasss but the price increased by $10 and the description was deceptive…
The instructions says the max weight for each shelf is 15lbs…. Yet the description on Amazon says 25lbs…. The max weight is definitely 15lbs. The material is very flimsy. I wouldn’t take a chance

Great value! This was a fantastic purchase at a great price. The instructions weren’t the clearest, but I figured it out and I’m so happy with it. It looks great and holds everything I need!

Messiest book shelf/cabinet I have ever assembled. The pieces came undamaged (but 2 shelves had small scuff marks on them. They used the cheapest styrofoam for packing and some of it was obliterated. I don’t know if it was because of the damaged part of the styrofoam or if it was intentional but every single piece was covered with styrofoam flakes that had to be wiped off (and vacuumed off the floor).
Other than that, it’s just a super cheap book case. The wood is thin, the backing is in 3 pieces and you can see the cardboard edges if you don’t line them up perfectly. Seeing that the backing came in 3 pieces, they didn’t provide enough tiny nails for the backing to secure to the top, bottom, sides, and the bookshelves (to keep the backs from bending backwards).

I definitely would not put a heavy item on this thing, but it is holding my books and witchcraft supplies quite nicely. If you have kids, I recommend securing it to the wall!

It was for a small child to use in their play kitchen so its perfect for that. It was easy to out together but some of the pieces came chipped. I wont return because as i said its for a play kitchen but i dont see it lasting for years.

This shelf is 100% worth it. It’s quite sturdy, I have 2 of my makeup boxes (which aren’t light at all) and some books on the same shelf and it’s doesn’t even droop. Building it took about 30 minutes and the measurements are accurate. The only little thing I wasn’t too big a fan of was the back wall of the shelf, it’s pretty thin and there weren’t as many nails as I would have preferred to attach it, some extra for security would have been nice but since the back of the shelf is against a wall it wasn’t too big a deal.

I was thinking the shelf would come pre-built, but I was incorrect. I am a great handyman, so I wasn’t too worried. The instructions say that you need two people to build this, but I did it all by my lonesome just fine.
The instructions kind of confused me at first until I started putting stuff together and then they were very understandable. It says to read all the instructions first before building, which I, of course, did not do. So, please do that and you will likely not have any confusion like I did.
It took me very little time to put this shelf together and it looks very nice. It looks expensive and it is great quality for being such a low price. It is very sturdy, too. I didn’t like that the particle board back was not shown to need to have nails put in there to stay put with the shelf backs because it looked flubby with the three slats just being set together and only secured with the nails around the outer edges. So, I just marked the particle board back with a sharpie pen where the shelf was and then stuck some flat pins in there to secure it in the back better and it looks great.
The instructions say to use a rubber mallet, which I did not have, so I used a hammer. The small nails are easily bent with a hammer, hence the instructions saying to use a rubber mallet. If you use a hammer, just be very gentle with hitting those little nails in. I bent a couple into disrepair or else I would have used those to secure my particle board to the back of the shelves and not flat tacks. There are also no extra screws, so be aware that you can’t lose any. This shelf is awesome, please buy!!

Its the perfect size for a small space, and it was super easy to assemble! I used a manual screw driver and had no issues, took about 10 min or so to put together.
I will say however, that if you are planning on filling it all out with books on every level, it may start to cave in. For example- it definitely would not be able to hold all my med school textbooks, but it does perfectly fine with all of my hard and soft cover pleasure reading books!
Makes for a great decorative shelf space as well if youre more artistic/decorative and less of a book-worm!
