I upgraded from a Corsair dominator platinum 6200 kit… these are cheaper and faster!! I also get to use less rgb software and they look great!! I’ve had zero issues as the xmp profile loaded right up and perfectly stable!!

De lo mejor que hay en el mercado las tengo a 6400mts y sin ningún problema

Super beautifully stable DDR5 I’ve owned my first kit since 2022. and continuously recommend and purchase from G-SKILL. The RAM DIMMs are nice and sleek, they have a good weight to them. they look modern when lit up, and stay cool. When I first purchased it in 2022 it was $400 but the price has been more reasonable as of lately 🙂

I know the ram itself is made by only 1 of three companies. I wanted a set with Hynix tech in them so I chose these as the time I bought them they were the best price. they look great in my build and perform as designed flawlessly

I had first purchased the 6600 kit. It did not go well with my asus z690-e. Had issues with bluescreen, several blue screen errors. No matter the xmp profile, I had just issues. Sure was a fault kit since I was able to boot and pass memtest86 using my brother’s corsair 6600 kit. So I decided to try again but, in this case, the 6400 cl32. Installed the kits, cleared cmos, booted in bios, choose xmp2 and boom, working perfect in my system. Passed twice memtest86, no more bluescreen and the system is stable as it can be. I see a lot of people saying DDR5 is requieres fine tweek and bla bla bla. Fake. If you kit is under the memory compatibility list from MB manufacturer, it should work just fine with xmp1 or xmp2. If you are having issues like blue screen, failed memtest86 you have either fault kit or fault MB. Also always remember to have latest BIOS, firmware and chipset drivers.

Really responsive RAM, quick and is really stable even w/ OC. The RGB design is also a very nice addition to anyone’s transparent case setup.

There is an equivalent amd expo ram kit that g skill offers that has the exact same specs as this one. They say to not mix and match. But the specs are the exact same. So i did some research and the conclusion was that the main thing that matters for ram is matching the specs.
I purchased this one although my existing set was the amd expo set. Works like a charm. I thought it did not work but boot time is longer than usual when you first install a new ram set. Once up and running the system recognized the new set and ran like normal.
Since I already had the previous g skill ram kit this one automatically turned on the rgb lights to match them all (all 4 individual rams).
The look is also the exact same as the amd one so I don’t even have a slight variation or anything.
Overall I saved about $15 compared to the amd one.
For anyone curious, the intel or amd rating means they specifically tested with that platform in mind and they more or less guarantee compatibility.
Again, all that matters in the end is ram specs not what the company guarantees will work (amd vs intel). So if I had an intel platform then my amd ram set would work there as well.
I’m running these at 6000 MHz 1.4V and the rated timings 32-39-39-102.
Not running at 6400mhz because my system is less stable regardless of the fact that my moba is rated for even higher. (i had dropped to 6000mhz from 6400mhz one or two days prior to receiving the new ram kit so this matter is separate).
Anyways. Recommend this kit.

Awesome RAM set. RGB works with ASUS Aura Sync. No issues there. I did have issues during my initial build while installing Windows 11 Pro. I was continually getting BSODs left and right. I was worried I had a damaged component somewhere. I checked the seating of the RAM, the motherboard, video card, nVME SSD, all kinds of stuff. 3 hours later I forgot about that damn Intel XMP profile. It seems a little counter-intuitive, you HAVE to run Intel XMP profiles in BIOS otherwise your RAM will run at something crazy slower, like 70% less whatever your rated speed is.
Alas, I discovered the issue was WHERE I had placed my RAM. Most mobos will have their RAM slots in this order: A1, A2, B1, B2. I had them in A1 and A2. Seems like it should be fine there, right? Nope. Re-seated the RAM in slots A2 and B2, turned the default Intel XMP profile on in BIOS, booted to Windows, and checked speed with CPUZ-ID. Boom, RAM was running at its rated speed, 6400MHz. Ran several stress tests. No more BSODs! Hooray! System was stable.
It’s 2024 ffs, we should be able to put RAM in any slot and be able to run Intel XMP without it destabilizing the entire rig. But we aren’t there yet, unfortunately. We are a few short time periods away from having AI overlords, but with this stupid crap I’m sure Intel XMP will thwart their plans for world domination.
Not G.Skill’s fault. Their RAM runs great, if you install it correctly per Intel’s specs. SK Hynix DRAM, for those that care. Same stuff as Corsair Vengeance chips, just a fancy heatsink makes Corsair’s more expensive I guess. Buy this RAM!
