Got this case to build my Son his first PC. Case looks great and was easy to build in. Plenty of room for cable management. We put a MATX motherboard in it and had lots of room for activity. CPU cooler fit perfectly under the glass side panel.

I have built in this case multiple times it is awesome for budget builds with 2 caveats…

First, the case glass is much darker than it appears in the listing pictures. This is good if you want to obscure the components, but not if you are expecting to show them off.

Also, there are no motherboard standoff locations on the right side. The motherboard still mounts securely, but you get a little flex plugging in connectors on that side.

Otherwise, these work as expected, have excellent airflow and look great!

For under 60 Euro it is perfect: 4 ARGB fans (all 3-pin), ARGB controller with standard 3pin 12v connectors, a few remain free to connect more fans and the CPU cooler. Rubber-padded feet. Decent workmanship, good airflow out of the box. All good.

I am using the Gamdias E-ATX Mid Tower Gaming PC Desktop Case to build a new Windows PC for my daughter. The case is taller and wider than other mid-tower cases I’ve worked with, measuring 19.25 x 9 x 17.5 inches. This is as compared to my full-size tower case that measures 20.5 x 9 x 21.5 inches, or my daughters current mid-tower that measures 15 x 7.5 x 16 inches. The 9-inch width is to be expected as it accommodates larger CPU cooling fans such as ones that use heat pipes and mount perpendicular to the CPU and also provides more room for cable management. Size-wise though, the case feels closer in size to my tower than my daughter’s existing mid-tower. Given that many builds now use M.2 NVME or SSDs rather than HDDs, it is not clear to me that the extra height and depth of this case is going to be needed by many of the builds that use it.

I have built several PCs using high-end cases, but I have not needed to purchase an additional case in about eight years. I was surprised and a bit disappointed to find that this case did not have a slot for a Blu-ray or DVD player/recorder. I did a bit of research and found that many cases on the market no longer include a Blu-ray slot as complicates the cooling fan layout, particularly if a liquid cooler is used. So, I will need to use an external Blu-ray player for this build, which my daughter is not too thrilled about.

The Gamdias case is very nice looking at it includes cable management features that match what I have on more expensive cases. The tempered glass door is also very nice and provides a good view of the internal components. There are also fan mount points on top of the case, with a very cool magnetic screen cover. The top of the case includes an on-off switch, and LED switch, a USB-A port, a USB-C port, and two 3.5mm ports for a microphone and headphone. This is the first time I’ve seen a case with ports and switches on the top of the case. This strikes me as both a good and bad location – it makes the ports easily accessible, but if you tend to store things on top of your case like my daughter does, this might not be the best location. It would also have been nice to have additional USB ports on the front or top of the case, but my daughter typically has only her phone connected to a case USB port, so the case ports should suffice.

I was pleased to find that a full-size ATX power supply fits into the case. I was not sure at first if the lower portion of the case was large enough for an ATX power supply, but there was no difficulty fitting one in. One other nit I have with the case is the thumb screws for the two side doors on the case. The thumb screws feels smaller than on my daughter’s current case, and always take a small bit of work to get them seated properly when putting the side doors back on the case.

Depending on your needs, the case is either a 5-star or 4-star case and has some very nice features for the price. I would have preferred a case with a Blu-ray/DVD slot and would have preferred front-of-case USB ports, so for me, I’m rating this case 4-stars. However, if you don’t need a Blu-ray player/recorder and are okay with top-mounted ports, this case could be 5-stars.

I am totally aware of the price here, being at 60$ it is a very attractive price for most people, but the quality is just horrible. The case feels like it weights like 5 pounds at most, and the metal is just bendable and moldable with your bare hands. The only good thing on the case are the fans where the RGB and the noise level is very good honestly. But it doesnt make up the fact like the case is just bad.

    1. The front doesn’t have any mesh or removably filters which means dust will end up in your systyem very very easily and you can expect to have to clean it like once every 4 months.
    2. The The temperered glass panel is very very dark and you can barely see inside of it.
    3. The hole cutouts are in a very awkward position where it makes cable managment on the front IO’s just look awkward.

overall just dont buy this and get something like 10 dollars more expensive and you can expect something alot better.

Great budget case with ARGB support, button on the front controls the fan lights, nice touch for older budget builds where the motherboard doesn’t have RGB or ARGB headers. Great option under $59.99

Very nice case at this price. Everything works well. The only downside is the cutouts could be a little larger for cable management on the backside of you are using Atx MB and non modular PS. For a budget pc build it’s worth it.
