    Just got it. As of right now, I give it a 4/5 because it’s a bit dirty but it doesn’t bother me much. I may change my scoring based on how it holds up with durability (will drop to a 3/5 if it fails durability)

    I didn’t think it was going to fit my regular sized guitar for a second, but it actually holds it quite snug. When it came in, it was folded in the box, not a huge deal. When I put my guitar in, it expanded and filled very well. I like how lightweight and well balanced it is (my last guitar case was horrible with that). I didn’t think the pocket would be enough, but it easily holds all that was in my former case: a stack of loose papers (~50 sheets), my patch cord, and 2 scissor-like tools that I use to cut my guitar strings.

    It was a bit dirty. There’s some fluff on it that I’ve shaken off with my hand, but there’s some residue on it that I can’t really identify. It looks like a thin layer of dried mud, but I don’t think it is mud. It doesn’t bother me, but I’d rather it not be there.

    Great value. Great fit for a Martin Dreadnought. Nice protection (for a soft shell), and seems to be of durable quality. I expect it to hold up well with light use, but could surely take more abuse than I will ever dish out. After all it’s a soft shell case so I would’t trust this to secure my guitar through, . . . lets say as checked baggage on an airplane, but for getting back and forth to a lesson, etc. it’s great. Front pocket holds sheet music, or a folder / notebook, etc., and picks, capo, tuner, strings, . . . no problem

    When I received this gig bag Gator GBE Dread I was a little worried earlier if it would fit but when I received it everything was fine. The quality of the bag is very good. It has some nice padding inside and the zippers work really smooth. The seam work on it is really tight there no flaws. This fits just right for the Takamine Jasmine S35. The pocket is pretty nice size on the outside, you can even almost put your 15″ laptop in it in a upright position with the exception having 2″ above and outside of the zipper plus your song books. It has padding on the inside pocket so it would not harm the guitar or your laptop. It also has a warranty that comes with it.
    I really like having just one shoulder strap instead of the back pack method and you can switch the strap over for a left handed person or right handed by clipping to either side. The price is very reasonable for a quality gig bag.

    The packaging is great! The packaging was large enough to hold the entire gig bag without having to be folded.
    The Gator Cases, Gig Bag for Dreadnaught Acoustic Guitars. Haves good foam all around the guitar to keep it safe from dents and scratches, and has several big pockets for all my accessories that are small.

    Good Product, Good Packaging, I like it.

    I recommend it, not just as a Gig bag but also as a Guitar case.

    This is a quality guitar bag! The construction is very good and the zippers run smoothly. It has good padding on the inside and along with a convenient zippered pocket on the front for storing your music, books, picks, etc. You can carry this bag with the side handle, upright with the front handle, or on your back with the shoulder strap (which can be switched for carrying on either shoulder). It only has one strap so it can’t be worn like a backpack, but I like it better this way.

    Overall, a very nice gig bag for toting your acoustic guitar! I recommend it!

    This case fit my acoustic guitar very well! I’ve been using it for three months now, and I haven’t had a single problem. The exterior pocket is perfectly sized for folder or other sheet music. If you have small items like picks, I would recommend getting another, smaller bag to keep in this pocket, as the pocket is deep, and it is incredibly easy to lose pencils and picks in the very bottom crevices.

    The shoulder strap isn’t super comfortable, but can easily be swapped out for better a better one. I’m sure you could replace the shoulder strap for a full backpack-setup if you wanted to. I like that there is both a shoulder strap and a handle on the side to easily grab the case from whatever angle.

    For my guitar, the fit isn’t too tight or too lose. Definitely check the dimensions to see if this will fit your guitar, as many reviewers complained it didn’t work for theirs. The dimensions provided were accurate to the product.

    Overall, I’m a big fan of the case. At some point, I’ll probably sew something new over the logo, just because I prefer logo-less items, and there isn’t any color on the bag. I definitely recommend this guitar case!

    I really like Gator Cases anyway, and just wanted something cheap and quick. The quality of this is just as good as my more expensive cases, all though not the same protection. But adequate for my needs. I would also like to mention that this is the new version with 2 fitted straps so you can wear it on your back

    Unfortunately I had to return this bag because it did not fit my dreadnaught Ibanez acoustic guitar ( Concord model 699 from the 70’s ). The guitar dimensions were within the referenced measurements of the bag but the bag would not zip past the upper bout. Called manufacturer ( Gator ) and they couldn’t figure out the problem and suggested I return the bag and order another one of the same model ( GBE-DREAD ). I think I will just shop for a different brand rather than have to return a second order. Otherwise, the bag is great.

    Really good for the price.

    Pro’s;
    -Soft padding on the inside will do more than enough to protect your guitar.
    -Large pocket in the front fits A LOT of stuff (I can fit multiple instrument cables and small books at once)
    -Fits my Jasmine S35 perfectly

    Cons;
    -Shoulder strap isn’t really comfortable. Would’ve done better with backpack style straps
    -Personally, it is not aesthetically appealing.

    I’ve been playing guitar since 1985. In that time I’ve had dozens of guitars, basses, cases, and bags. I gigged for over 30 years and in that time I would only use hardshell cases. Since I’ve retired from gigging I don’t need the same protection for my instruments so I have a few bags now.

    I recently picked up a Yamaha FS820 and needed a bag. The FS820 is a concert sized acoustic (slightly smaller than a dreadnaught) so this bag is a little baggy but over all it fits well. The seams and padded handle are sewn nicely. The outside material is rugged, the inside material is soft with sturdy zippers, and a roomy pocket.

    I purchased another bag which was less expensive and I was disappointed with the quality so I sent it back. I am pleased with this bag. Stay away from the cheap ones. If your needs are like mine; this is the bag you want.
