Mom, wife, sister, human –
Iโm not crazy, but the little tripod stands I like the solidity of the base and itโs not that heavy. It fits in my stand case.
A. Stobie –
I purchased this stand for my grandson’s REAL TRUMPET and upon mounting the trumpet onto the stand, THE VERY FIRST TIME, the protective rubber tip that was on top of the vertical pole got stuck inside of the trumpet’s bell. WHY WOULD ANYONE IN THEIR RIGHT MIND MANUFACTURE A DEVICE THAT CAN GET STUCK INSIDE OF THE TRUMPET’S BELL ? It was extremely difficult to get that rubber plug out of the bell and it required multiple precision tools. DON’T BUY THIS STAND, SOONER OR LATER THAT RUBBER PLUG IS GOING TO GET STUCK INSIDE OF YOUR TRUMPET AND YOU WILL REGRET IT AS I DID – EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED.
Steve L. –
It is easily capable of safely holding up my heavy vintage trumpet. I cut a small hole in the center of a cloth napkin and draped it over the center post to protect the lacquered finish on the inside of the bell from the spring-loaded centering disc. It works perfect! Highly recommend this versatile stand!
Yanky perl –
Does the job well done!
Eugene Williams –
I bought this because I needed something to stand the clarinet up on when I turned it into a lamp.I had to shave down the piece that goes up inside the throat to clearance the wiring I installed. Looks great, works perfectly.
Luis845 –
I was skeptical if this would work better than my old one, pictured next to this one, but it’s so much better. Nice and heavy, which can also be a caveat if you have to lug it around in a gig bag a lot, but very nice, was never worried about tipping. My old one was fine, but I was always worried about my flute being bumped as I think it would topple right over, just too light. Then all of the rubber feet wound up coming off and one of the metal spikes got bent. So glad I didn’t get the same one. This would work for a clarinet or oboe very well as well!
Natasha B. –
Feels sturdy. Exactly what my violist daughter wanted.
Tom Kilcoyne –
Works like it should. Good quality, allows me to keep the trumpet out of the case so I actually play it more.
Eugene Williams –
Iโve had a similar make and model before. Iโm a little leery of the bell hoop, itโs too wide and you canโt squeeze it together to wrap the bell more tightly. And the tightening screw seems to be poorly threaded. Iโll probably return this one.
