I use this machine to bind my kids homeschool workbooks. It’s easy to use. Easy to store because of its slim design. Its light weight compared to the other binding machine that I have. I also bought the binding spines that were recommended along with the machine, which are a game changer. I would highly recommend this product.

This is a game-changer. For years I’ve bought the pre-punched paper, and it was always very fiddly trying to feed it through the printer, had many a frustrating moment where it got caught and jammed or otherwise didn’t print how i’d expected. This is *so* much better. I can simply print on whatever paper I want (including much nicer papers than the pre-punched paper), run it through this, and voila, ready to bind. I don’t even know *what* I’ll do with the pre-punched paper I already had…I have zero appetite for trying to mess with that again.

I bought this binding machine in May 2019 and it is a must have for me in our homeschool! It gets an incredible amount of use along with the laminator and printer. I buy digital files for a lot of our curriculum and I love that I am not stuck with only a bulky 3 ring binder for all our printed material. Iโ€™ve used both sizes of the pro-click spines and they work very well and Iโ€™ve never had one come undone. Iโ€™ve run probably a few thousand sheets of regular paper and laminated paper through this thing and it still works as well as the day I got it. This has been a 100% worth while purchase for me and I would highly recommend!

I purchased my ProClick5 p50 a little over a year ago, and it has been a wonderful tool. I have used it to make a custom planner for myself and many homeschool workbooks for my children. I love, love, love that you can add and remove pages, like a binder, without the bulk and frequent page tearing of a binder.

The product is sturdy and well made, but I cannot fathom why it costs so much. When I first started looking at it I believe it cost around $60. When I bought it it was just over $70, and now it’s in the $80s, with several places online charging well over $100. It’s just a well made hole puncher!

I think this product would sell like hotcakes, especially in the homeschool market, if Swingline could price it in the $40s or maybe $50s.

As an Australian homeschooler, I was after something affordable thatโ€™d help me bind pages together and can be reused again and again. And I thought this was perfect for us. Functionally, itโ€™s great. It does exactly what it says itโ€™ll do. But I wasnโ€™t aware that the regular computer paper size in the US was much smaller than the regular computer paper size in Australia, so our Australian papers donโ€™t actually fit in the machine ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™€๏ธ – theyโ€™re about a centimetre or so too big. So Iโ€™ve had to cut all the pages down to size in order to create our booklets. Itโ€™s tedious and time consuming and totally not worth it. So as an Australian, I definitely donโ€™t recommend it, but for those elsewhere in the world with small paper like the US, itโ€™s great and works well, I highly recommend it.

I hummed and hawed on this for months and finally decided to buy it. This is such a great purchase as a homeschooling mum! I’ve been able to bind all our curricula as well as my agenda and various smaller books for my kids. I wish it did more pages at once but otherwise I love it and highly recommend it.

I purchase digital files, print, and bind our Unit Studies and parts of our Curriculum.

I watched several great videos on YouTube about how to use the ProClick before giving it a try and so far no complaints !

I purchased regular , plastic 4:1 coils and they work very well with this system, despite the ProClick punching holes at a 3:1 ratio. Pages still turn easily with no snagging and coils hardly stretch to fit the 3:1 configuration.

I love putting things together and can see myself having a lot of fun with this. It is handy that the ProClick is slim and not exceedingly heavy for easy storage and mobility.

This paper punch is like getting the note book style you buy for the store , only thing is that you are doing it yourself. The product makes it much easier to work with any not book or online paper out there , from the time I got this product until now I have made a few book.. I even got created and made my own notebook myself ; just like a notebook with hoops, that you open and close, it was not easy but I did it and I am well please !

    Pros:
    – It’s very well-made, heavy, and feels like it will last forever.
    – It punches very consistently on the page. Sometimes with a regular 3-hole punch, the holes on multiple pages don’t line up exactly right if the paper is not in exactly the same spot every time. I punched a large stack of papers and every single sheet lined up perfectly.
    – It’s long, but not huge, and is very easy to store. It doesn’t need a lot of real estate on a shelf and the low profile means it in can slip into tight places. This is also a plus when assembling books and papers and supplies are scattered all over your work surface.
    – It punched through 8 mil plastic report covers fairly well. Not sure it could handle anything heavier, though.
    – Because the binders can be reopened, it makes it super easy to add pages when needed. This is a HUGE plus.
    – Overall, the spines take up less room than a 3-ring binder, are sturdier than wire spiral binding, and allow you to fold the cover 360 degrees around.

    Cons
    – It is LOUD. Makes a ton of noise as you slide the lever back and forth.
    – It can be a little cantankerous at the max number of pages. You do have to hold papers down on the edge of the punch to keep them from sliding out.
    – Max capacity is 6 pages, but if you use anything other than cheap copy paper, you’re probably going to max out at 4 pages or so. Cardstock is a single sheet. This makes punching a large document a little slow.
    – It’s awfully expensive.

Overall, I think it is well worth the investment, even if I did wince when pressing “pay.” I don’t anticipate needing to replace it anytime soon, and I am very pleased with the results.

The media could not be loaded.

ย I homeschool, so end up printing a fair amount of material for my kids. This is a million times better than 3 ring, comb, or spiral binding options. With 3 ring options, the binders get broken, the rings won’t match up, and there aren’t enough holes so the pages get ripped out. With comb and spiral binding, the pages are secure, but it is very difficult to add or remove pages. This system is the best of both worlds. Lots of holes so the pages don’t rip and they turn easily, but the binding opens and closes easily to add or remove pages. When it’s closed, it stays closed, too. I bought this about 2 years ago, but it was broken. I tried to live without it, but just decided it wasn’t worth it with so many years left of homeschooling.
    Technical details:
    – it can hole punch up to 4 or 5 normal copy paper pages. I use a heavier weight paper, so never punch more than 3 pages at a time.
    – the binding can usually hold about 50 pages (again, I use thick paper).
    – it can punch through laminated paper easily
