This set to me is a cross between the strait and spiral extractors. It is straight but more angular and has 5 flutes vs 4. The 5 flute design also means you can use a normal socket and breaker bar if need to be get the fitting or screw out. I gave it 4 stars as the set needs to include the next size bigger. I ended up using a different tool to get my fitting out as the set didn’t go big enough.

Everything you need to extract a broken fastener. Left hand drill bits with the matching extractor sizes. Extractors have very sharp edges for a good bite

    Broke on first use.

The drill bit bent and is no longer usable. The extractor did not grip the drilled out bolt as advertised.

I like that these are longer than normal multi-spline extractors. Nice case to store them in also.

I got this product to remove a broken bleeder screw on a brake caliper. Drilled hole to fit smallest size. it just kept spinning in the whole until I drove the heck out of it with a hammer, then it broke using one hand on a 1/4″ ratchet. Drilled larger hole and tried next size up. Same results, spun easily, hammered the heck out of it and it broke using one hand and a 1/4″ ratchet. These have no bite and just slip until you drive them in quite hard. Problem is once they don’t slip they just snap. Very brittle low quality metal. Hardening low grade steel just makes it brittle low grade steel, not stronger. Spend your money on something better. Buy fluted, preferably made domestically.,

I have had mixed results with other bolt removal systems in the past, but this one works well. The kit that includes drill bits is especially useful
