Perfect for replacing the missing knobs on our piano. They actually look nicer than the original knobs.

Originally I gave the product three stars on the shipping as I didn’t get both pairs ordered at the same time. However, the company more than made up for the delay in shipping and they did this before I submitted my review as my other items were already shipped. They sent me two extra pairs. Although these are for Pianos, I used them on a box I built. The one recommendation I would highly suggest, especially if you are inserting these into hardwoods, such as my project here, is to use a wood screw that matches the threads and use this to tap the hole. I used a 5/32 drill bit to drill the hole needed and then a #8 wood screw to tap the threads. You could use a larger drill bit for softer wood, but I would not recommend this for harder woods as you risk breaking the screw off as you tap in.
I didn’t want to use the piano knobs to tap the hole as it is difficult to get them to start straight and plum and equally difficult to then remove them if you are finishing the product after tapping the holes.
Overall, great product and will be purchasing more for my box projects I will be doing this year. Highly recommend them for your project.
