You have to use rubber gloves to spread this on. Too thick and doesn’t spread evenly. Streaking

This bottle will last all year for me and it gives a great realistic tan for those of us on the fair skin complexion spectrum. I receive a lot of compliments on my nice golden glow. I have freckles and an ivory to fair in makeup colors. With all sunless tanners, it does have a smell, but not awful and you do need to know how to apply it well.

I get compliments on my tan every time I put it on. It’s very dark but natural looking. It doesn’t come off orange at all. It’s easy to apply and the fact that it comes out bronze straight away, I can always make sure I’m not streaky. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because of the distinct “fake tanner” smell. My friend said it doesn’t make her smell too badly so maybe it’s just me but I really dislike the smell.

This product, while it does tan you sort of, is lackluster. first off it goes on with a chalky feel, second, it is VERY STREAKY. the mitt didnt help one bit and actually just absorbed all of it and scuffed it off my skin. It also rates a good 8/10 on that bad fake tan lotion smell it gives you, that weird smell you wanna shower off ASAP…. it dries too quickly to rub around evenly, chalky like, very weird. The only way I’ve hacked trying to use it since I liked it enuf to not hassle with returns, was to mix it half and half with my regular lotion, that way it has time to smear on evenly, doesnt streak and I dont smell as gross. ALSO>>>>>> the level of tan is totally off, I would call this a light or medium tanner at most. Even when i basically took a bath in it, let it soak for an entire 24 hour period before showering, it darkened me less than a can of medium nuetrogena spray tan…..
10/10 will never buy again. didnt return because im lazy.

I have been using the dark lotion for about a year and I love it so much. Sun laboratories is the only sunless tanner I will ever use now. It leaves my skin looking flawless! Choosing to use the ultra dark for the first time but I’m would I will be equally impressed!

After caring for a patient who passed away from melanoma, I sold my tanning bed and started the journey to finding a good self tanner. I spent hundreds on versa spa only to have it wash off in two days. After trying Sun labs self tanner I have not looked back! Definitely get the mit because it helps to smooth the lotion on better.
Before using, I exfoliate in the shower, dry off well and then put my regular moisturizing lotion on my hands, elbows and knees. I actually mix the Sun lotion with my regular facial lotion when applying to my face and it works perfectly! My biggest tip is to put dark or old sheets on your bed before sleeping with the lotion freshly applied 🙂
