Do I wish it had 2 more slots for RAM yes, but it was the cheapest fastest Ryzen 5 3600 motherboard at the time and after a month now it’s doing good no faults.

Good mobo for guys on a budget. This one ain’t wifi so you gotta get a wifi card, but in our case, we saved 50 bucks on this one and bought a 20$ wifi cars that runs great numbers for our application. The bios is okay, updating it is quite easy, m.2 compatible and it’s built to last. I was surprised of the build quality when plugging all the psu cables.
I recommend

Keep in mind that AM4 stock coolers will collide with the RAM sticks if they are too beefy. Other than that, it’s an amazing motherboard, pretty cheap, pretty cool looking, both bios and appearance wise, and doesn’t slow down any of my components.

Linux Mint 21.3 ,Ryzen 5 3600X. One problem with sleep mode ,it would go into sleep then immediately wake up,had to turn The power supply off to get it back to normal.
(FIX) for Linux only. Terminal: sudo nano /etc/systemd/system/disable-wakeup.service
copy and paste:
[Unit]
Description=Disable wakeup for specified PCI devices
[Service]
Type=oneshot
ExecStart=/bin/sh -c ‘echo -n “disabled” > /sys/bus/pci/devices/0000:00:01.1/power/wakeup’
[Install]
WantedBy=multi-user.target
now press CTRL+o, then Enter, next CTRL+x almost done!!
sudo systemctl enable disable-wakeup.service
sudo systemctl start disable-wakeup.service
GPP0 S4 *disabled pci:0000:00:01.1 ( this is the problem file )
use: cat /proc/acpi/wakeup to check, it should say *disabled,
This a known problem with gigabyte boards (5 SERIES)

This is my preferred board for many builds. I really like it.
Pro 1: Good feature set for a budget board (3x fan headers, USB 3.2, Q-Flash, 2x aRGB headers, 6 pin CPU power).
Pro 2: They always worked out of the box and has made reliable computer builds over time.
Cons: None at this moment.
Would I buy it again? No because the AM5 platform exists.

Used it for a new build gaming computer. Got it for low cost-HIGH performance, RELIABILITY! It is a superb deal. use a NVMe base drive for OS and games. This is lightening fast boots, BIOS is a breeze with clear categorized menus, RAW BOARD Bios flash/update capability, clean layout, ALL hardware and extras included. Means you don’t have to install video, cpu nor memory to flash the bios. Been building computers, repairing them since 1996…hands down the BEST MB deal I have ever gotten.

Only hang up to know is if you are installing windows to a brand new nvme SSD is you have to figure out how to initialize the nvme drive before windows will install to it but that’s a small thing plenty of tutorials on YouTube on how to do that otherwise it’s a pretty plug and play experience
