You put the batter in, put the divider on top, press it down and bake as usual. When you get the brownies out of the oven and pull up the divider, you have perfectly cut brownies with absolutely no fuss

What I love about it, all of the brownies were the same size and shape which was cool and it was much easier to get them out of the pan than with the standard pan. The down side, and maybe this is my fault for not reading enough reviews, but I wanted crunchy edges. I did a search for crunchy edge brownie pan and this was the best looking one so I bought it. There were no crunchy edges, It makes cake like brownies. Big disappointment, but I will still use it for company because it makes beautiful brownies.

This pan works very well for baking brownies that are evenly divided (I can never cut them evenly myself). I usually do spray the pan before I drop the batter in, but it seems to be nonstick. The insert goes in and out of the pan smoothly and has nice handles so that it’s easy to drop in or take out. This purchase was definitely worth it for me for those brownie-baking moments.
