If you are wearing a half helmet this will not work. Only appears to be good for the full helmet.

I expected, for the price, that the quality would be lacking. I was wrong. It’s easy to install, connect and use. Clear sound, noise cancelling microphone and long battery life.

This is my first foray into bluetooth helmet systems. I chose this one based on overall customer satisfaction in reviews. I put it into a GMAX GM32S helmet which has removeable padding inside so it made running the wires easier. I’ll admit that it took me longer than it should to install it because it’s something I’ve never done before. An experienced person could do it in 15 minutes…it took me an hour! LOL!! But the speakers mounted nicely in the ear wells and do not interfere with me putting the helmet on or taking it off. Sound quality is satisfactory but at highway speeds I had to run the volume up to the max to hear it over the wind noise. I ride a stock Boulevard C90 so there’s no major exhaust noise with stock pipes. The sound tone leans more to the treble side and I don’t get deep rich bass notes but I’m not complaining at the price I paid. I’m a beginner with bluetooth headsets so I feel this is an excellent entry level system. It does not pick up any static from the engine or other electronics on the bike. There were no incoming calls while I was out riding today so I cannot attest to phone quality. Nor can I say anything about the intercom feature since I ride solo. But it’s nice knowing it’s there should I need it someday. Was a bit difficult to get it paired to my phone. Struggled with that until I unpaired my bluetooth computer speaker and camera remote. Then it paired up quickly and easily. I’m throwing in a couple photos of the LX3 on my helmet showing the “light show” it produces. This feature can be turned off to maximize battery life. I plan to buy another of these to go into a similar “Fuel” helmet. That way I’ll have a second intercom helmet in the event some sweet thing ever wants to go riding with me. Folks…there are HUNDREDS of bluetooth helmet systems available. If you do your due diligence as I did…you’ll but this one! Overall I’m well-pleased with it!!

First off, this is NOT an intercom. You cannot pair it to other Bluetooth intercom sets. Know that going in so you wont be disappointed.
This is great for listening to music form your phone, or getting map directions. Audiophiles wont be impressed by the sound quality. But this is an inexpensive unit. Sound quality was good for an inexpensive unit. Plenty loud enough to easily hear music even at highway speeds, though at max volume is a bit distorted. Call quality is mediocre. No matter how I adjusted the mic, even bringing it to touch my lips, callers said I sounded tinny and far away. I also experienced the Bluetooth randomly disconnecting a couple times, but would reconnect a minute or so later without issue.
Without those 2 things, this would be a 5 star review.
I would recommend it if all you need is something to listen to music, calls and directions. No need to spend $$ on a high dollar intercom you wont use.

Was easy to install. Instructions were easy to follow and had pictures for reference. Full sound is crisp and clear with bass. Tested at 70 mph and could still hear music clearly. Great system, especially for the price.

I have a somewhat loud exhaust on my bike. I can barely hear anything out of the headphones. I can hear noise but can’t actually make out the music. Not worth the $20. Wish I could return but its already installed.

So I got this for my son in law and he loves it so much. Says it is very clear when using. He has had one before but said he likes this one much better. It was super easy to set up and get working with his phone. I would give this a 10/10 for sure.
