I was a bit skeptical considering the size of this unit and the lack of visible antennae that other wifi routers have many of, but the range on the single unit and the ease of setup is remarkable.
I live in a small townhouse downtown Toronto with lots of interference from neighbours, and one is sufficient to cover the whole house and backyard. The corner of the yard yields slightly slower speeds but internet is still highly usable even there. Lots of features in the app and traffic data is useful.
The one thing I wish it had was the ability to administer it over the web on a computer. You need an app on your phone to access administration features, but this is a relatively minor knock against it.

Works great. I had wifi signal issues on the top floor and after installing two of these my range has improved considerably.
No more dropping wifi.
Speed may not be great when I checked. But anything above 50MBPs at every corner of the house sounds good to me for now.
Note : I have a 500mbps connection. And Google wifi shows 200mbps (when I check with Google wifi app and I’ve read that, they check speeds based on what you get from their servers typically when you watch YouTube or access Google) while speed test.net shows 450+ (they look at nearest server)
But as any 5Ghz connection you need to be near the router to get these speeds.
Overall I would recommend this for any tech challenged folks as it’s a breeze to install it.

I purchased this used google Wi-Fi point to extend the network to reach a dead zone in my garage. Works perfectly. Great value.

I thought this was a refurbished unit, but it came new in original box. Installed in our mesh system in a few minutes. Adding unit improved coverage in a far corner of the house. Total of 4 units in system with no degradation of signal at original 3 units.

I have 4 of these in my 3200 sq ft house, which is 2 more than they claim is required, but I still have grey zones where internet is patchy. However the worst thing is the speedtest performance. I have 1gbps fiber upload and download speed to the house. If I connect my laptop to the fiber modem with a Cat6 cable, I get 995mbps both ways. If I connect the cable to the LAN port of the attached primary Google WiFi router, I get just 100mbps. I get a maximum of 200mbps over WiFi, but usually less. My laptop has a Intel 6E AX210 2.4gbps Wi-Fi adapter so the issue definitely lies in the routers.

I received two AC-1304 WiFi routers with my Google Fiber account. These routers are really complete junk. The WAN (i.e. to the wall) speed seems to be gigabit but the LAN speed is 100 Mbit. That makes them useless for connecting to pretty much anything faster than a toy poodle.
In the attached picture:
1). 944 Mbps is direct wired Ethernet connection to the wall. Definitely gigabit.
2). 243 Mbps is to the AC1304 WiFi “router” via wireless that then connects to the wall. Kinda slow for 5Ghz.
3). 94.89 Mb/s direct wired to the AC1304 WiFi “router” that then connects directly to the wall. Definitely 100 Mb
I researched and purchased through Amazon, a $130.00 802.11 a/b/g/x/n/ac WiFi Router. These little mesh points might work well hung off that router but I don’t need them.
Here is the Asus router purchased through Amazon:
1) 905 down 936 Up on the copper 1 GB LAN
2) 375 down/ 437 Up on 5ghz
3) 83 Down/ 173 up on 2.4 Ghz
I use my workstations on wire. Tablets and notebooks on 5Ghz, GoogleFi Pixel 4 XL phone on 5Ghz as well.

Initially bought 2 for my girlfriends house. She lives in a 1600-2000 sq ft. detach house where the internet modem is located in the far corner of the master bedroom. With a long Ethernet cable, I was able to place the Wi-Fi closer to the master bedroom door leading to the hallway. Now the whole house (including basement) has access to the internet. Watching a show or movie on Netflix is now achievable as the signal strength is pretty good throughout the house. Setup was quick and easy using the Google Wifi app. The app allows you to check your network connection, see who’s connected and prioritize certain connections. You can also make changes or test your internet speed even while you’re away from home. For my application, 1 Wi-Fi system is enough to cover the house. However, if you need more, you can pair more together to create a bigger mesh network using the Google Wifi app.

They work as expected. No issues with installation. Hide well on shelves and couches.
