I LOVE this kettle. I have the smaller one that looks like an old school kettle from Govee and I love that one as well. But the capacity on this one is what is so nice. It is very very simple to use. I use the app which is nice. You can see exactly what the temperature is which is necessary if you use a french press to make your coffee. Before, I would burn the coffee because the water was too hot but with this, I know the exact temperature and it comes out perfect every time. Get it, it is worth the money.

I purchased this kettle to replace and old one from another company that quit working.
Heat up is as fast as I have every had with other kettles, maybe faster
I like the custom temperature options on the app and the three on the handle
Colors indicating mode is nice
I like the controls as they are not mechanical switches that will fail.
Phone app and timer settings are great. I start the kettle remotely when I wake… Now I have hot water ready when I make my breakfast
The app notifies me when the water is warm
The time settings for “keep Warm” are nice so you don’t leave on by accident over night etc.
I would love the app to show how much time is left on the keep warm cycle

I love the app and the features it has. This is used to make my baby’s kendamil formula, and works perfectly and can heat the water in the app exactly to the temperature of 158 that I need. It also boils very fast as well. Will come in handy for winter for drinks.

Honestly I was just looking for new simple electric kettle until I saw this one, with all these fancy features for very appealing price so I gave it a try and it didn’t disappoint! First of all it looks very stylish (it does get dirty easily but simple bounty and cleaning spray will take care of it), I like the material it doesn’t feel too hot to touch on outside (safe for kids to be around). Definitely love the app features change of colors, turn it on before getting out of bed, keeping water warm for whatever time period you want, and custom boiling temperatures . Technology I didn’t know I needed! 10/10

It’s early days so I can’t offer a long-term review at this time, but initial impressions are very favorable. I bought two and both connected to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth effortlessly and almost instantly, no problems or issues. The functionality is great, with the app you can adjust, change and program just about anything you want. It heats up quickly and accurately to set temp. I do wish there were more available functions on the kettle itself so you wouldn’t have to rely on the app. It seems well made, was very well packaged, is easy to use and works great. This product is way cool.

I use this kettle to boil water for generic, store-bought tea packets (nothing fancy), and it works well for that purpose. I don’t personally care about custom temperatures for different coffees and teas, and cannot confidentally comment for those uses.
It takes me about 5 minutes for the kettle to reach boil on its recommended max capacity of 1.75 Liters.
You can schedule the kettle to boil at a certain time (up to 24 hours in advance) using Govee’s smartphone app. You will need to connect to the kettle with Bluetooth for the set up. Once you have added the eletric kettle to your phone and Govee account, you can schedule or trigger a boil remotely as long as your mobile device and kettle are connected to the same wireless network. This is a slight change, as when I originally got this kettle I needed my mobile device to be connected over bluetooth to schedule a boil.
My one critique and disclaimer for future customers, is that the Govee app does not currently let you schedule the kettle to run on a regular or repeated schedule. In other words, you cannot program the kettle to run every day at 9AM; you’d have to manually schedule for 9AM each day. Interestingly the Govee app actually has the capability to schedule devices on a regular basis, but for some reason this capability is reserved for only Govee’s lighting products. My hope is that Govee extends this feature to their electric kettles as well.
Update: After a few months of use, the lid of the kettle tends to get stuck. It’s never permanently stuck, as I can get the lid open after spamming the lid button a few times, but it is annoying that I have to do this for a $50+ kettle.
