Easily the best console cable available. The longer length allows me to connect to the router and still be able to sit down to do my work. The built in serial to USB adapter worked immediately on my laptop (Windows 10 Enterprise) and works well.

I plugged it into my Windows10 laptop and it auto installed drivers. It works perfect. I bough the extra length since some times there are no crash carts available and I end up sitting on the floor while connected to the top of rack switch. So much better having a single cable instead of the two piece like everyone else has: usb adapter then the Cisco blue console cable.

i often see people give a product terribly reviews because it wasn’t compatible with their computer or electronic devices…. news flash…. that is a user error and no fault of the product itself unless there is an inaccurate description that clearly states it would work with your electronics. This product plugged in a set up super simple. the cord was long and fictional which would have been nice. My only issue was a user error and i couldn’t get it to connect with my computer. perfect for tech-savvy people. my computer registered it was plugged n just fine which tells me that it works i just had no clue how to set it up and had no patience for it either (probably sounds really bad on my part). anyway. If you know what your doing and how to set it up, i recommend this product.

Works perfectly. Used this cable along with a db9 to USB adapter to connect to a Cisco 2960 switch. Was able to use putty on my laptop to open a serial connection and change settings on the switches ports. I’d highly recommend this product.

Cable length is perfect for elevated wall mount racks or devices located high up on a rack. No interface issues with any network device so far. If you need a 9 pin (DB9) buy it separately.
