I recently tried a new glass polishing system and discovered that when applied too thick, it was almost impossible to remove. I wasted that first attempt, because I was unable to buff the polish off the windshield.
I ordered these pads, and took a second attempt. nervous at first I set my porter cable 7424xp to its lowest setting, set it on the glass and started. These pads work like a champ. I would like to get an interface pad to give it a little more cushion, but it did a perfect job of pulling some THICK polish off the windshield, leaving it ready for a new application of product to protect it.
These are top notch, didn’t leave lint, didn’t leave marks, didn’t leave fuzz.

La verdad quede maravillado con el resultado obtenido por estos pads, con uno me alcanzo y aun despues de lavarlo quedo como nuevo . Creo que duran bastante, quizas recorte los demás para tener de varias medidas y poder trabajar mejor los espacios en los vidrios laterales.

I wish I had taken a before picture of the shower door of the house we have just moved into. While we are building our house we rented a property from a friend of ours and they told us the shower door couldn’t be fixed because it was completely covered in water scale. I just laughed and told him I had a solution. My friend made fun of me and didn’t believe me but I brought in the griots garage glass polish and these pads and I use one that I have used probably 40 times which is why I ordered a new set. In no less than seven minutes the door was completely clean and clear and my friend couldn’t stop yakking about how amazing it was. It completely blew his mind. A few days later he and his wife came over and asked me if they could see exactly what I had use to clean the shower door because they have a friend who owns 30 rental properties and this is always a problem when people move out. It works great on automotive glass as well and that’s primarily what I use it for.

I bought a used aquarium. It was very dirty. When I got it home and cleaned it up the glass was in bad condition. I cleaned, buffed and polished and now it is shiny and new looking. The buff pads helped great in my process of restoring this aquarium

I used these in conjunction with Griots 11017 Fine glass polish on all the windows on my car. after carefully washing my car, i double checked to get any residual dirt off the glass using Invisible Glass and a microfiber towel.
I connected this pad to my porter cable DA polisher. It did a great job at polishing the windows. after completing the polishing, the glass was very smooth.
the next day i re-inspected my glass and i noticed that the glass had micro scratches in it (it really showed up in the tinted windows).
I think that i will just stick to using rain-x applied by hand from now on.

Used in combination with 3″ orbital polisher from Griots Garage and : Griot’s Garage 11017 Fine Glass Polish
Griot’s Garage 11033 Glass Sealant. Impressive results, needed to do 2 passes for a few bad watermark spots in side glass but once completed, shined like diamond. I taped around windows, 2 layers of blue tape, polished, then washed, then dry then glass sealant. Take overall 1 hour per car window if you take your time.
