My 3.5 year old has been acting out at school lately and we’ve tried a bunch of techniques to get him to be kind to his friends and teachers. This book actually helped! I’m so impressed. Take all my money. I’m going to ask his teachers if I can buy a copy for the class too. It’s funny, which keeps him engaged and has him asking to read it over and over. But the part towards the end when the monkey feels sorry seems to actually resonate with him. I’m going to have this book memorized soon from reading it so many times.

This book really was so cute. I got it as a birthday gift for a friends 3 year old boy. When it arrived I read it before hand it it made me tear up, so sweet and a nice meaning. I kept referring to myself as a grumpy monkey whimsically throughout the day whenever I felt myself getting frustrated and it honestly made me chuckle and helped. Definitely gonna gift it again for other littles in my life.
