The smell is absolutely beautiful, feminine, and light so it’s not too in your face. I think the scent is perfect. The thing about this perfume (and I’m not sure if it’s because Amazon buys old ones or they are just like this) is it’s not a strong, long lasting scent. I have to spray it like 20 times for it to stick to me (which honestly is good for a heavy handed chick like me) and it kinda losses it’s power after a short amount of time but honestly not many last as long as I would like anyway. But for the price ($20) for someone that is broke like me it’s worth it to have a wonderful smelling full size bottle of perfume.

Okay girls- if you were a Hollister girlie this is for you. This reminds me of something you’d buy back in the day from Hollister, for sure.
I’m so happy with this purchase, having never smelled this before. It’s a beautiful everyday scent- literally smells like the magazine scents you’d dream of buying as a kid lol. Anyways- get this. You won’t regret it.

GUESS 1981 is a powdery, slightly floral, musk smell that doesn’t reek of flowers or candy & is not over bearing as long as you don’t put too much on. It’s definitely feminine without smelling like an old lady or sweet like cotton candy like a teenager would prefer. It’s more sophisticated & it lasts for hours. I even smell it on my skin the next day before my shower. Lots of compliments from MEN wanting to know the name so they can buy it for their girlfriend/wife. Honestly…it must be the Pheromones they put in it because seriously…. I’m over 40 & I definitely don’t look like a model!
